On average, how often do you get your hair cut? (Guys only)

Please answer just one.

Such an enlightening topic and poll, OP.

Once a month. Even in my advanced state of decrepitude, I still have a full head of straight , fine-textured hair, mostly silvery white now, and it grows, but I like to keep it pretty short. I don't find long-ish hair on men over 50 flattering (with just a few exceptions). I could get it cut every 6 weeks, but I like a clean, defined line in the back and I like to get rid of whatever soft feathery stuff is growing on the back of my neck. When I get up in the morning, my hair is often standing straight up, and I actually like that look on me, but I can't bear the thought of washing it and then putting some sort of shellac on it daily to keep it standing up. After I wash and brush it, it's soft to the touch and it stays in place all day long. I don't have to worry about it.

I'm not nearly as handsome as the model I'm linking, but this is somewhat close to my haircut

Other. I am a Flowbee guy, and cut my own hair. No one ever could give me a decent hair cut, I have several cow licks which makes getting a good hair cut difficult. No one has ever been able to give me as good as a haircut as I give myself. I do the sides and around my ears a couple times a week, the rest as needed. Flowbee works great if you have straight hair, which I have, I imagine that curly or wavy hair it doesn't do as well.

Once a month. Sometimes I can get away with five or six weeks if I don’t have too many social occasions in my calendar.

Once every seven weeks.

Other … I’m bald and I buzz down what little there is once a week. Probably saved $20,000 since my last salon haircut in the early 90s. A baldie’s consolation prize!
