Prince William’s Temper ‘Boiling Over’ After French Media Publish Invasive Photos
Prince William is considering legal action over the publication of highly-intrusive photos of a recent skiing holiday he took with wife Kate Middleton, and the whole issue is causing a lot of stress at home as the couple struggles to enjoy privacy away from the spotlight.
“They were under the expectation of having privacy and just trying to take a break, this was totally unacceptable,” the insider says, adding the prince’s “temper is really boiling over this one, so no one will be all that surprised if he does take action.”
The Duke and Duchess of Wales jetted off to Courchevel, France for a luxurious skiing holiday and made a stop in Paris for an Aston Villa match during the U.K.’s spring school break. They booked a private chalet, but French paparazzi still managed to snap a few photos, signaling a serious threat to the family’s privacy.

Anger also boiled over years ago when William's parents berated the media for intrusive behavior on private holidays. The media is not going to stop, because what have we all done...clicked on sites to look at the pictures.
Both William and Harry deserve privacy from the media as they enjoy time with their wives and children. They both court the media as it suits them too. Harry and his Mrs., however, also court it for financial gain. That's the difference between the brothers. On some level, I cannot blame Harry. He's an uneducated dolt who has no other options after the choice he made.
Perhaps they ought to follow the example of their Grandmother. The media was more respectful when her children were youngsters, of course. Then again, she did not take them to Swiss resorts. She had the Britannia or the closed gates of Balmoral where they could enjoy a private life without intrusion. That intrusion took off after Diana appeared on the scene, but before her, there were intrusive photos of Margaret enjoying her extramarital affair with a younger man. "The Palace" may have said a word to the publishers and editors on Fleet Street. The Queen just put on a brave face.

He gave it all up for a yachtgirl's loose pussy and has no idea why nobody in his family want anything to do with him when he's done nothing but trash them to the world.
Was he always this stupid? Of course. He just had the monarchy with an entire apparatus protecting him from constant humiliation and his stupidity prevented him from having any idea that this was the situation. Now he literally stumbles around London wondering where everyone is having no idea they were living their lives and not constantly thinking about him. He doesn't get it and never will. All he knows is he wants reconciliation with his father and brother while at the same time saying the royal family wants him and his wife and children dead. A complete loon.

A Queen Mother is a former Queen who is the mother of the reigning monarch. If William becomes King, Kate becomes Queen, and if William dies before her, Kate is a former Queen and George is the new King, and at that point Kate, being a former Queen who is now mother of the reigning monarch, ,does indeed become "Queen Mother."

"Queen Mother" is in a sense a nickname, it's not a ranked, formal title doled out by the Monarch like a Dukedom. r 60 is correct, QEII's mother was known as the Queen Mother because they shared the same name, and b/c she was alive for so long after the death of her husband there was a need for a way to distinguish the two of them.
One presumes that if Catherine becomes Queen Consort, and William dies fairly young, she will eventually perhaps choose to be known as "Queen Mother". It's a lot like the Princess Royal honorary title, one receives it at behest of the monarch, with the permission of the grantee.

Especially because by the time George becomes King and then gets married, I'm sure his wife (who will be Queen) wouldn't want her mother-in-law being referred to as "Queen," as well.

Charles didn't give Camilla the title Queen. The late Queen Elizabeth expressed her desire that Camilla would be known as the Queen Consort, i.e. she would be known as Queen Camilla. Not that it was necessary for the late Queen Elizabeth to do that, as Camilla would automatically become Queen Consort but the late Queen was aware of all the lunatics who would attack Charles for simply following tradition, protocol and law, so Elizabeth had to underline that this is exactly what she wanted.

"When a king marries, his wife is called a "queen consort" because she gets a special title through marriage, but she doesn't have ruling power. However, when a queen is the ruler, her husband doesn't automatically become a king because being called "king" usually means having real power" As if any of this means anything in the lives of human beings.

English common law is based on patriarchal customs. Under common law, wives automatically take on their husband's status, but husbands of higher ranked wives do not.
The moment Camilla and Charles married, she was always going to be Queen Consort legally. The Princess Consort thing was really just a way to soften people to the idea of the marriage just a few years after Diana had died.
