I've written about this before a few times but I saw Kevin Spirtas at a Korean Spa in New York. He was on "Days of Our Lives" for a long time. He may still be for all I know. He's an out actor and he was there with a younger friend. I chatted with him for a bit but didn't let on that I knew who he was. He looked very nice naked...above average length, trimmed pubes, but still plenty visible. (I absolutely loathe fully shaved men.)

Again, in the early 2000s at the iconic "Rose's Turn" - piano bar/cabaret on Grove Street, W. Village.

Quiet night. I walked downstairs to get a drink and noticed a guy with his head on the bar, arms sprawled out, and next to him, a backpack overflowing with scripts, sheet music, etc. I sat two seats away from him, looked at the bartender, and we silently chuckled. Guy awakes, and I see it's Lane. Wasted. Mumbling nonsense, swerving, loud.... a complete mess. I'm certain he was also in rehearsal for The Producers. I said hello, to no avail. Nothing registered. Sadly, Rose's Turn closed in 2007. Ironically, that was the time La Lupone was on Broadway in Gypsy doing her own Rose's Turn.

WSC was definitely not on the second floor. You had to take an elevator up. I was the 10th floor if I remember correctly but it was on W20 street, so maybe I am mixing things up.
