Under 65? No Covid Vaccine for You!

Covid-19 shots will likely be available in the fall for adults ages 65 and older and those with underlying conditions that may put them at higher risk of a Covid-19 infection, but not for everyone who was previously eligible for an updated shot.

Thanks, RFK Jr.!

I hope some higher ups in the current administration experience some things!

It's "go through some things", r3.

by Anonymousreply 4May 21, 2025 3:26 PM

I'm sorry, r4, I just my Dip-Tet booster and have become autistic!

I had seven covid shots (not all at once, of course) and I still got covid last year on the way back to FL from NYC. And I mean bad enough that I still feel the effects of it 10 months later.

I am most decidedly [bold]not[/bold] an anti-vaxxer (I've had a lot of shots this year!) or a conspiracy theorist, but chances are good I will never get another covid shot. And I'm 66.

Then, r6, be glad you were vaccinated. Otherwise you would probably would have died.

I skipped my booster and got covid in February, it was a horrible experience. I coughed March and April and I'm still experiencing cognitive problems. My friends my age who had their booster caught covid and felt tired for a couple of days and that's it.

I'm convinced it was some weird NYC strain... You guys have a lot of weird bugs up that way.

by Anonymousreply 9May 21, 2025 4:05 PM

I just visited NYC a few weeks ago and got a covid shot last month. I knew that there was a strain afoot and I had tickets to 3 shows so I wasn't going to take any chances.

My PCP isn't too concerned about this yet because a massive number of Americans under 65 have conditions that may put them at higher risk, which should make them eligible for annual boosters.

Didn't Dump tout this as the trump vaccine and one of his finest accomplishments?

by Anonymousreply 12May 21, 2025 6:43 PM

Yep.
