I am a native of Maryland. We don't give the country presidents because they are all too libel, and all too arrogant. Example one: Martin O'Malley. Why couldn't he get further? Because he couldn't sell that 20 watt Kennedy charm, which in Maryland had made him a star. He wasn't very smart or interesting. As for Wes Moore what a pompous bore. He never speaks in details, just platitudes. He is another handsome man but the Democratic party will never get an another women or black man to be president of this country - maybe for a generation. Trump is a sign that Americans don't care for each other, and would rather own people than help them- including themselves.

Considering how much more polarized, and considering that 64 and 72 were dominated by foreign, and not domestic policy, then yes, 2008 was a landslide. Especially when you look at the Electoral College. That’s a 17% victory.
