Daniel René Weider Garcini, born in Houston in 1982, was a late replacement in the legendary Latin boy band Menudo. After the release of Tiempo De Amar (1996), creator Edgardo Díaz sold off the brand, and the remaining members—Daniel among them—rebranded as MDO in 1997, still under Díaz, to little renown.
He later toured in the 90s Pop Tour, produced on The Rhythm Rehab, and hosted two seasons of HBO Latino’s A Tiny Audience. He’s released several singles and EPs (“En Un Beso Tuyo”, “Libélula”)? You may say: Who? What? Cue the obligatory descent into addiction and pennilessnes, followed by the phoenix-like return to sobriety, maturity, and creative reinvention.
He now reviews fragrances on YouTube and Tiktok. With his piercing pale blue eyes, Bucci bag, lipstick on, Daniel is ready to rock.
