Tattoos - they only show you to be a conformist

I’ve been sitting in ORD waiting on my delayed connection for 5 hours now. Watched thousands and thousands of people walk by. It’s hot so a lot iof people In shorts and Tee-shirts. ( Who flies that way?!!! Airports and planes are filthy!) Anyway, garish and ridiculous tattoos being paraded around. I’ve come to the conclusion that despite the tattooed ones thinking they’re unique, rebellious, bad-ass, whatever, in the end it just means that you are a conformist.

Conformist and trendy yes if they are not thought through and random. About 5% of tattoo owners have good designs that work on their bodies.

I don't think anyone has thought they were bad-ass in 20 years.

Personally I don't like most tattoos that can be seen in a typical summer outfit. Tattoos look weird if only part of half are poking out from fabric.

It’s been the ruination of so much gay porn.

I agree and they are all too familiar and the people covered in them are damaged goods

They should invest in shoes.

Debt collectors and drug dealers can’t repossess them, there’s always a different style to try, and they don’t have to see the same pair every day.

What's the difference between tattooed and non-tattooed people?

Tattooed people don't care either way if you have 'em.

I don’t hate tattoos — they’re not my favorite but I can live with it.

But yes they absolutely ARE part of the Millennial/Gen Z/Gen A uniform.

R3 I’m convinced that more ink means more baggage.

I'm from the PNW so I don't even notice tattoos.

I love to service guys with lots of tattoos. They all think of themselves as bad ass alpha gods, few of them are. As I sub for them, I watch their needy egos inflate, it's just fun for me. They're the ones being used, but occasionally I luck out and find the real deal, a man who ravages the shit out of me.

ORD is a special type of hell.

by Anonymousreply 10May 18, 2025 1:06 AM

OP- I TOTALLY agree with you.

People who get tattoos think it's going to bestow them with- Coolness, Hipness or Edginess but it bestows none of those things. The only thing it bestows them with is AVERAGENESS.

Tattoos drag me back to religion.

So far, I could convert to Judaism without physical issues. It’s just that I fear my usual thoughtlessness might offend a new God.
