It would be an error in judgement if that woman had OPRAH as her maid. She looks as big as a house in that scene. I guess this movie was filmed before she lost 50lbs on one of her 80 diets that she attempted to lose weight on and ultimately failed.
Oprah was a far better actress in this movie than Whoppi Dogdoo even though Oprah had no previous experience as an actress.

I disagree OP. Whoopi gave one of the best debut leading actress performances of all time. Oprah is good in this, a bit a hammy sometimes though Miss Sophia is a chew the scenery type character.
