I recently went to Mexico City.

No way I can ever eat that American fast food Mexican again

I think Chipotle and Qdoba are interchangeable. The best fast food burritos are from Baja Fresh.

One time I had Rubio’s fish tacos, and that was a nice change from other Mexican fast casual.

You haven't had my fish taco R4.

Fast food Mexican chain: Del Taco.

But any local Mexican restaurant will be pretty good - if not sometimes too similar.

There's a default Mexican menu for American palates that is so repetitive. There are more authentic places, but you have to search for them - and they are worth it.

Of the three, Chipotle. But there’s a local ghost kitchen near me that makes much better food. I don’t know how authentic it is, but it’s better than any other Mexican food in my city. Even their cornbread is the best I’ve ever had.

One time I had New Mexican food, it was so spicy my stomach was on fire and I had mild nausea.

My favorite is long gone but I've heard good things of Las Delicias de la Abuela in Alpharetta, GA

Go to Cicero, Illinois. So many Mexican restaurants in a very colorful town.

by Anonymousreply 13May 17, 2025 7:44 AM

Cicero's just down the street from Nick Fuentes' Berwyn lair!

Pancho Villa’s had the best Mexican food- this was in the mid to late 1980’s. It’s long since out of business.

Cheryl, dear. You MIGHT want to change up on the seasonings you use on your taco.
