We have a SIN - Social Insurance Number.

The last three digits of Teafake's federal number is 666.

You do realize that before June of 2011, the first five digits of your social security are actually guessable from readily available information on social media? Only the last four digits were random.

Historically, the area number was intended to indicate the state where the SSN was issued, while the group number was used to assign numbers within each area.

DL, anytime you see posts asking for the last four digits of your social, or asking what are the most recent items you’ve purchased online?

The person asking is attempting to digitally track you, for whatever reason(s).

Same when you’re prompted to click on some links here, posted as a tiny url.

Please be careful. Use a VPN, or better yet, if you’re posting from your phone, post while using your cell phone’s ‘cellular data’ only, instead of doing so while your phone is connected to WiFi.

Regularly update all of your devices, & if you use an iPhone, make sure all of your air-drop & AirPlay settings are purposely turned off, & cannot transmit or send, nor can anything be sent to you, as there’s a way to use your iPhone as a device that uses Air settings as microphones to listen to your private conversations remotely, whether those conversations take place on your phone, in your car, or at work, whether you’re on the phone itself, or talking to another person face to face.

Same goes for all Home settings from Apple. If your Apple speakers are not updated regularly, they can be used as mics via Air settings. Same with cameras connected to your Home settings.

Pretty much any product or service connected to your WiFi and engaged with Air can be used as surveillance devices.

Android devices are another whole ball of wax, especially when looking at sideboarding issues, & can be even more vulnerable & easily accessed by hackers.

My sister and I got our SSNs at the same time ... back in 1960-ish, and we have consecutive numbers. Which made it easy for me to remember her number when I needed it to handle her affairs after she passed away.
