Morgan Freeman is 83 and yet he is still everywhere. Does he need the work and the money that much ? He's even doing commercials for realtors and heart medicine in addition to his on average 3 movies a year. Why are movie producers so eager to cast him in their films ? Is he such an asset at the box-office ? I always thought he has been playing pretty much the same part for the past 30 years. I don't get it.
Morgan Freeman: Isn't it time for him to retire ? Please...

He became a star much later in life. He can get a nice paycheck, travel and be fawned over for a few days. What retired person at 83 wouldn't want that?

Didn't Freeman play God in one of his hundreds of movies ? I agree the guy is/was in a lot of movies. Aren't there any other great black actors our there ? I've always loved his voice but I also think that he seems to be playing the same part over and over again. Still, I think he's a good enough actor. It appears that he has a very high opinion of himself and even though he was on a soap before his big Hollywood break, he seems to not want to acknowledge the people he worked with back then. JackƩe said that she was at an event they were both attending and he barely talked to her, even though they were on the same soap at the same time and shared storylines for a year or two. She suggested that he was now a bit of a snob and it did not sit too well with her...she was not impressed
