He was also from Switch and was on one of DeBarge's albums.

The original famous Debarge. His falsetto vocals on Swtch's "There'll Never Be" and "I Call Your Name" were epic.

Why didn't he release more solo albums?

Wow - didn't know that. Then again, as much as I liked the group and listened to them in the 80s, I didn't really follow news on them. Sorry to hear he died at a young age. Thanks R6 R7

Bobby was really cute and was said to have a number of boyfriends.
The DeBarges were ruined by the crack 80s. They were very musically gifted, especially Bobby and El. El is one of the most underrated songwriters/musicians of that time period.

There had to have been fifty-'leven Debarge siblings.
Which brother went to prison? Which one is Janet's baby daddy?

R11, James married Janet.
I think they all went to prison
