There are tons of profiles by down low tranny chasers that have NO MEN on their profile. Most of the people I see on Grndr are trans or men dressed as women. I understand the desire to be inclusive but it undermines the app and its intent if it’ nothing more than a kink fetish fishing hole for “straight” men.

On another site dedicated to male masturbation there are “straight” guys always posting chix w dix and trans peen. While it’s fine to post your own pics, too many “straight” guys are obsessed with posting them and making them a big thing. Most gay men are not interested in seeing a surgically created penis. I wonder if lesbian sites are overrun with trans men?

My overwrought observations on this phenomenon. The OP's topic is the only instance wherein I agree that some level of intolerance towards trans is justified. I agree that this is a real problem, because the amount of interference that trans create in gay men's spaces prevents gay men from meeting one another. Their meeting spaces are clogged with people gay men are almost by definition not attracted to.

My qualifications: More than one friend has called me a "tranny magnet" due to the amount of trans attention I get, online and elsewhere. I'm not particularly into them. I could be attracted or interested at times, but I am also turned off by erratic behavior suggestive of personality disorders. Please read on.

Whether you pay or don't pay for Grindr or any other gay hookup app, your grid will be filled with non-male-presenting people. Most apps limit profile views or the number of people in your grid. If everybody in your grid is trans, you won't be able to do much on the app.

On reddit hookup and dating subreddits, even in the subreddits that are explicitly defined for the exclusive use of biological males who present as male, there are trannies and chasers and transmen, frequently declaiming "Don't kink shame me" and "I'm trans/CD/whatever, so be ok with that." The thing about reddit is that anybody is free to create their own subreddit; and, there are hundreds of trans dating/fuck subreddits already. Why don't they use those?

Why are there so many trans on the apps? A few reasons. On any SM platform, there are people who have multiple profiles/accounts, or who spam post, and I believe the trans crowd is the biggest offender. Sometimes I'd see up to 3 or 4 CD profiles near me on a grid, and I know they're all the same person. I remember on one subreddit, the same tranny would post the same pics hourly, from morning until late at night, plaintively begging and scolding for large cock. S/he must have been using a script to do this, else s/he had no life whatsoever.

Another reason there are so many is that quite a few of these erstwhile girls are working. They want paying customers. Most won't tell you until you've invested considerable time talking to them. And a bunch more are out and out scammers of various types. There may not even be real gurls behind that profile - the profile might just be the online shingle hung to advertise a prostitution business. Doublelist is notorious for this, and it will probably get them shut down eventually for reasons similar to BackPage and Craigslist.

( part 2) When I was much younger, more horny and far less experienced, I tried dating a couple of these cd/trans types. It didn't go well. There was either drama, or an excessive even exclusive reliance on kink to the exclusion of affection and sex. But usually there was both - crazy and constant kink. One of them stalked me. In the old days of transsexual psychiatry, a patient professing a desire to transition would be carefully evaluated for signs of HPD, which was considered one of the exclusionary criteria for surgery approval. That's mostly ignored now. But it doesn't matter, because most of the men displaying high heels and torn mesh stockings online aren't really interested in surgery. They have found a shortcut to their histrionic desires - pretending to be a slutty woman is enough to get a horny guy to give up his cash, drugs, and/or his dick.

At this point gay male spaces are ruined. In the name of inclusion our spaces have been taken over by straight women and the land of misfit individuals.
