What to see in Kent, UK

I am going this summer to a conference in Brighton, and i decided I would spend some time in Kent before I fly back from London because I've not spent much time there before. I definitely want to go to Canterbury, but I was wondering what else to see if I'm traveling by train. I thought about Rochester because I'm a big Dickens fan, but I was also thinking about visiting Dover or Wye or Broadstairs. Are any of them must-sees? Is Rochester worth visiting?
