Welp, I'm an alcoholic and I didn't eat a lot, but I did drink 2 bottles of wine a night, packing on 45 extra lbs (which I've just lost since I stopped drinking in January of this year).

The people I've known who were alcoholics also were bigger with alcohol bloat, and when they stopped drinking, they lost weight.
