For me it’s “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N Roses. Was the ringtone I used for an ex-boyfriend years ago and every time the opening guitar comes on, I get “PTSD” thinking it’s him calling.

Pretty much from the moment he and I met, I would make us mix tapes, from high school,1993 up to his passing in 2021, and if you believe in that sort of thing, the songs he "left me" as signs after. The early playlists were so banged up and scratched, I've spent the last three months recompiling and putting them on CDs that look like 45s. When he would pull up to the driveway in his red Chevy Camaro with this blaring, I knew the sexiest muthafucker on the planet was here.

Bread - I can't live. I broke up with my boyfriend and would listen to this and cry. I met my husband 3 months later and fell in love. 41 Years we've been together, but I remember that song and how much I loved my ex- boyfriend. I still love that song, though!
