The first episode was very weak and plodding. Weird choice for the start of the season.

The first one did take too long with the murder, but I enjoyed all three. This is such campy fun, I have a smile on the whole time I'm watching it.
Katie Holmes back from the dead, with a shitty wig and unable to pronounce "realtor" properly. She was decent enough, I just kept thinking about Tom Cruise every time time she was on screen.
John Mulaney was surprisingly good for someone who's not an actor. But man is he bloated for the gods, his eyes looked like they were about to disappear into his eye bags at one point. No idea what's going on there.
Erivo was surprisingly subdued for such an over the top role.

I also noticed John Mulaney's face, r3. Suspiciously smooth and tight. It looks like he's had a full-on facelift.
