My feet have grown an entire size. I’m 60 and my feet are now size 10.5 and my whole adult life they were 9.5. Is this common?
Do feet get bigger when you age?

They do, OP. Your arches fall and the bones at the top of your feet spread. This is more likely to happen in you wear a lot of sandals, sliders, or flip-flops.
My feet got a little longer, but quite a bit wider.

Today my shoe size is 17-4E.

don't arch supports help prevent getting flat-footed?

It sometimes happens in a shorter span of time to women when they have kids. Something about the hormone relaxing their ligaments or muscles and the extra weight can contribute, too. Probably not everyone, but I’ve heard that some women can’t wear the same shoes they wore pre-pregnancy. I suspect it’s heavier women who gain a lot of weight, but my point is that your feet can definitely smush down and “grow” over time.

I can attest to the fact that farts get way bigger. They go on and on. I cut one in the local Macy's this evening.

Mine have gone up one size. I'm 52.

Feet don't typically "grow" as we age, but weight gain can make your feet bigger. Also, arches tend to flatten as we age which can cause feet to become wider and longer.
Similarly, noses and ears don't technically "grow" with age, but do become larger due to changes in supporting tissue, skin elasticity, and other changes to the face which make them appear larger.

My feet actually got smaller after I retired! But that’s really because I hadn’t saved properly for retirement and I was forced to eat my toes.

Mine are 1/2 size bigger but I've fat whored myself of late. R14 likely correct.

Yes OP, they end up like 2 big slabs of meat hanging off your ankles....wide and flat. Ageing is such fun.
