i kinda like the libraryish room with the stairs. The rest of the house is generic barn chic, and the backyard pool area seems small- not even a backyard kitchen. Not a lot of pics, which is curious for the price.

Didn't Ashton Kutcher build a house like this one?

No r5 it's a block away from West Sunset and a quarter mile from the Riviera CC.

$28 million for 9k square feet and a little more than a half acre. Pricy.

I don't think id like it unless Brad Pitt was my neighbor. It's a lot of space. I do love horses, though.

Weird, because Ben and Jen Garner lived throughout most of their marriage in the large, Cliff May spread just to the north of this house, over the hilltop above it. 1700 San Remo. He must really like this neighborhood.

I don't know if it's really a horse ranch. I imagine so because who would want to live in that barn farm chic looking place with no horses.

There's also a pool so maybe that's where they bathe them.

The Kutcher-Kunis house leans heavily into an edgy modern farmhouse aesthetic like this one, but it seems much grander.

R30, that’s the key difference. Look outside of the windows you’ve linked and you have a view OUTDOORS. Look outside the enclosure at OP and you have a compound with walls. It’s perfect if you’re hiding from the mob, looters, or neighbors who wonder if you’re drunk again.

The barn looks attached to the house. That doesn’t sound high end. Of course, if it is only a 1/2 acre….

As with others in the thread, the food heat lamps are over done. Not worth the asking price.

Affleck is back in the neighborhood specifically to be near his kids/Jen Garner's place.

Affleck moved to this current house, a Cliff May spread, supposedly because his prior home (also a Cliff May spread) wasn't private enough and did keep the paps at bay.

This is not to be confused with his marital home with Garner, also a large May estate, on San Remo. As stated upthread, he seems to really like Cliff May houses.

You can't discount the shit traffic in LA...a house that may be 8 miles away could take you a damn half hour to get to with traffic, as everyone who has ever lived there will tell you.
