Little Marco’s 2028 star is rising.
So he’s already turned on JD.

This means that Marco has achieved the status of best ass kisser, for now.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 4, 2025 4:48 PM |
Rubio is a tiny Latino with lots of gay rumors. So yeah, he’s a shoo in.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 4, 2025 4:50 PM |
Succeed him as what? Winner of the prize for tiniest hands?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 4, 2025 4:54 PM |
Little Marco, you in danger girl!
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 4, 2025 5:04 PM |
Will he have a gay foam party for his inauguration? Why does no one call this out?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 4, 2025 5:05 PM |
I'll always remember Little Rubio on the couch in the Oval Office as war Zeroes Trump and Jaydene were berating war Hero Zelinskyy: He looked as if he had an out-of-body experience, which is typically something that happens when you are traumatized by what you're witnessing. When I saw that, I realized he still has a soul at that point.
Maybe since then he's become totally soulless and Trump certainly appreciates that. And of course Trump also has all the pics of Little Rubio throwing up his arms in delight at one of the gay foam parties. That and the proceedings of his arrest in a cruising area at a time where it is supposed to be closed off to the public.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 4, 2025 5:06 PM |
It's actually great news that Trump has finally come out and said he will not run in 2028. It's not that he could win, but that he wanted to run again made me think he would and we would have unfair elections. We might still have unfair elections, but I doubt either Vance or Rubio could hold on if elected.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 4, 2025 5:09 PM |
Why would you take him at his word when he lies constantly and changes his mind more often than he changes his Depends?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 4, 2025 5:16 PM |
Because he knows it will make the electorate and the Republican party view him extremely differently now if and until he does change his mind.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 4, 2025 5:21 PM |
I can’t help but wonder if somehow he knows he’ll be dead before the end of his term, and thus he’s no longer worried about going to prison.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 4, 2025 5:22 PM |
That would be great because the Magats would reject him
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 4, 2025 5:35 PM |
You can tell Kristen Walker is falling under his spell here.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 4, 2025 5:35 PM |
Rubio? Well there goes my next post for—-can the Dems have a dark horse in 2028. Rubio seems like a rock of normal and stability among this current admin. And he has real world experience.
I could see him having appeal especially after this current comedy act we have..
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 4, 2025 5:38 PM |
Jaydeen puts the L in O H I O

I have a hard time picturing JD getting the nod, But then I was sure 3x that Trump would lose. So who knows
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 4, 2025 5:49 PM |
Hasn’t Lil Marco run multiple times already and failed?

[QUOTE]This means that Marco has achieved the status of best ass kisser
I actually had the opposite reaction. That Rubio may have let slip some misgivings based on what little shred of morality he may have left. Like r8 says, he maybe, maybe still has a soul. And Trump’s way to reel him back is to dangle the possibility of succession. Of course, Rubio would be a fool to believe him.
Trump also probably wants to pit Rubio and Vance against each other because he enjoys sowing discord and being a gloating spectator. It will all be theater for Trump and one will have to eventually kiss ass harder.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 4, 2025 6:18 PM |
Additional motive for JD to take him out.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 4, 2025 6:58 PM |
L’iL Marco, you will never be President
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 4, 2025 7:04 PM |
R8, I'll never forget that image. He looked like he was dissolving into the couch. He was mortified but he couldn't say anything because 1) Trump and Vance would destroy him behind the scenes and 2) he knows he is a hyocrite.

Lil' Marco, absurdly, now has FOUR full-time positions in Trump Regime 2.
Trump can't attract any respectable, qualified people to work for him.

The only one Trump will pass the family MAGA brand off to his son.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 4, 2025 8:40 PM |
On MtP today, Marc Short, Pence's vice-presidential chief of staff, said he didn't think there was "anyone in modern American politics that can replicate the coalition that Donald Trump's put together." Adding that Trump "was uniquely gifted in that & I'm not sure there's a successor for that."

R32 probably thought Trump couldn’t win re-election, either.
Rubio with the GOP nomination and Trump behind him would be a very formidable candidate.

Well, that's guaranteed to fail. His chinless son has zero charisma.

Rubio and Vance have no soul. They believe in nothing.
And they have no charisma.

One good thing about a Cult of Personality is that once that Personality is gone, the Cult tends to collapse because you need a huge personality to worship.
Rubio is not that personality.

Trump is sui generis.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 4, 2025 10:38 PM |
Yeah, I know a bunch of people, including family members, who had never voted in a presidential election until they cast votes for Trump the last three cycles.
Marco Rubio is not going to bring them to the polls.

OK this is how you know that the dementia has really set in because Trump has NEVER EVER tried to set anyone up as his successor.
It will also never happen. The white supremacists will never agree to nominate a Latino. That is the whole reason Trump became president in the first place because the GOP’s other most viable option at the time was Ted Cruz.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 4, 2025 11:01 PM |
well I don't think he would be elected fairly, as I don't think Dump was......but if we had to have a hateful stupid idiot republican for a dictator, he probably would do a better job than dump. I guess that's one way to look at it.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 5, 2025 12:00 AM |
Oh, ouch. Everyone knows he lost his soul.
"I'm not even mad anymore about your complicity in this administration's destruction of US global leadership. I'm simply disappointed. And I wonder if your proud of yourself in this moment when you go home to your family ... I know you know this in your heart."
by Anonymous | reply 48 | May 21, 2025 3:52 AM |
An all Catholic ticket for the GOP in 2028. Place your bets early for the best odds. Just think in March 2029 the President the VP and the Pope could all be American Catholics. That does not happen often.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 21, 2025 9:59 AM |
I question your indisputable evidence of dementia, R46. I think his looking at possible successors is more informed by the understanding that, constitutionally, he really cannot succeed himself.

Five GOP blacks in congress today. All elected with strong support from GOP whites. The most since reconstruction. And besides the GOP unlike the Dems will vote for anyone as long as they think they will win.

Rubio is a vacuum, no personality, no charismatic pull. His "stage presence" is awkward and mockable. But this will definitely increase the in-fighting in the GOP so good on the buffoon-in-chief for sparking it up.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | May 21, 2025 4:28 PM |
Really lol! Little Marco?
It really shows what a cult MAGA is. When the fat imbecile dies, MAGA will die too.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | May 21, 2025 4:30 PM |
R38 really? He hides it quite well, then. He has ZERO presence when he's on screen. And when he talks or tries to speechify, he's wooden and reeks of self-doubt. Not seeing the charisma in that display.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | May 21, 2025 4:34 PM |
At least he knows how to stay properly hydrated when speaking.

by Anonymous | reply 63 | May 21, 2025 4:51 PM |
Rubio’s problem is less that he’s Latino, and more than he always looks like a sweaty mess caught with his hand in the cookie jar. The only time he projects any degree of competence is among Trump’s cabinet of total dipshits. Assuming Trump makes it to 2028 (he’s so decrepit), he’ll only be interested in backing someone who has a charismatic personal brand and an interest in keeping Trump’s name in the news. That isn’t Rubio.

Trump will never choose a successor because as soon as you have done so you’ve given someone a strong incentive to want to see you gone. This is one of his few very astute political instincts.
He will dangle it as a carrot for people he needs to remain loyal and breaking their backs for him — Rubio is running what, four agencies at this point? — but he’s never gonna say hey MAGA this is the guy to replace me. He doesn’t give a shit what happens to that movement when he’s gone.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | May 22, 2025 11:16 AM |
Before FDR announced he was running for a third term, he told many different people they should run. So when he announced he was running again, his opposition was splintered and FDR sailed in. I’m sure in the next few years Trump will anoint a lot of people. Hopefully, he won’t also announced he’s running again.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | May 22, 2025 11:26 AM |
Trump cares what happens after because he wants history to judge him as one of the greater presidents and leaders in history. He will want to leave a splintered defeated confused much smaller Democratic Party and a strong slate of those in the GOP to carry on his legacy.
“The man who remade America “
Those who were so sure Trump would be in prison by now are free to disagree..
