Everything is shrinking. A "family size" box of cereal is equivalent to what was once a regular box of cereal, and "giant size" is what used to be "family size."

With some shampoos and conditioners, the only options are their standard sizes, which have gotten smaller, or the new larger sizes, which are often in liters.

Everything got smaller. Have you noticed that the 16 pounce cans and bags of coffee have shrunk to just 13 ounces? It's to trick you into thinking you are buying your can of coffee for close to the same price, but you are in fact getting 17.5 % less coffee in weight each time.
