Yes, probably, I actually have schizotypal personality disorder (which is actually more of a schizophrenia spectrum disorder, not a personality disorder per se, but I digress) and could probably be diagnosed as on the spectrum in certain contexts.

A friend's son has serious autism. He is almost non-verbal. It's way more than "social awkwardness."
