They split a long time ago. Dickens has been with Leisha Hailey for almost a decade.

Earlier this week Sobule called Rob Schneider and Kid Rock "dumb as a box of hammers" on Instagram. A MAGAt appeared in the comments shortly after her death was announced today to be shitty about it. May a swarm of angry lesbians (or Dickens, wielding a baseball bat) descend upon her.

First time in her life the poor girl has been hot.

Seriously. I don’t remember a single “I Kissed a Girl” from the 90s and I was out at clubs every weekend. Her name isn’t remotely familiar. But rest in peace lesbian sister. Bless her, such a tragic death.

She’s not Katy Perry, dude. Her version wasn’t a club banger, it was more of an upbeat folk-pop number.

Her song “Supermodel” was also very prominently featured in Clueless.

I had her CD with I Kissed a Girl and Supermodel on it. I remember liking some of the other songs as well. I’m surprised that she was in her mid 30s when those songs were out. I thought she was in her 20s back then.

I wasn't a big fan, but I liked the video for IKAG - very retro and cute. Major '90s nostalgia...and the Fabio appearance? Mr. MAGA FOX News? God...those were the days, before everyone lost their minds.

To be honest I always thought of her as a one-hit (or 1.5) hit wonder, but seeing the massive thread on Reddit about her death, it's clear that she made a real impact on a lot of people and was quite beloved.

Sad. I’ll replace two dead smoke alarms in her memory.

Sad details, she was a guest in her friends’ house, a married couple in the St Paul area. And when the home caught fire the friends ran out, and say they thought Jill was escaping with them.
