R4, it’s incredible to me how nasty GOP Administrations are to the previous Dem administrations—constantly saying Dems were terrible and blah blah blah.
While Dems do their fair share of blaming, they never say such derogatory things constantly about the previous GOP Administrations

No worries, Mike. I’ll keep you in the Signal chat group.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 1, 2025 3:42 PM |
It's funny - the election for his open seat in Congress was just 4 weeks ago. It's still a Republican seat.
But he's taking the heat for using Signal App for top secret discussions. That's the stated reason. But why only him? Obviously letting him go right after his seat was filled seems a bit intentional.
On paper, he's as MAGA as they come.
Obvs, SOMEBODY should be fired for the Signal App stuff - highly inappropriate and not secure. HE is the one that added the Atlantic editor to the Signal chat - so that's probably it.

“Mike Waltz got Loomered”. Loomer sent a text to a Dana Bash panelist during the broadcast.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 1, 2025 4:29 PM |
Rubio is utterly useless. Expect him to depart the regime after the 2026 midterms to start campaigning for president in 2028.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 1, 2025 4:31 PM |
R33 - but that video shows him kissing his ass - a lot of it - just yesterday.
No it's because HE was the one who included the Atlantic editor into the Signal chat.
Nevermind that they shoudn't be using that open app anyway - but this is the cause.
Now what's he going to do? Go on Newsmaxx and Fox?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 1, 2025 4:34 PM |

I'm in partial agreement with r44. He was one of the saner Administration officials re the Ukraine war and Putin's bad influence. Wouldn't say he'd "stand up to Putin", exactly, but he was more vocal than the rest about not cozying up with him, and standing by Zelensky.

Do I Hear a Waltz?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 1, 2025 5:12 PM |
Laura Loomer is claiming he was “Loomered.”
She apparently wants her name to be a verb.
Beats being a noun.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | May 1, 2025 5:13 PM |
It's all about him erroneously adding in Atlantic editor into the group chat and exposing their evil plans. It's not about Putin.
What's delicious is to be a fly on the wall of his place in DC. I presume he got an apartment, moved his shit up there and his wife.
He's sitting in his apt right now just dazed - he lost his Congress seat, lost his job - has to move out of his DC place back to Florida where he's now unemployed AND will be an outcast with the GOP in Florida.
Love it when you see it! I'm sure he's on his 3rd scotch by now. I want more though - my thirst for GOP downfalls is insatiable.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 1, 2025 5:17 PM |
If it was all about that he would have been fired before, and so would Hegseth.

lol and it wouldn't surprise me.
During his 1st term, Tough Guy "You're Fired!" Trump couldn't look somebody in the eye and tell them "You're out." He made his Chiefs-of-Staff do it.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | May 1, 2025 5:24 PM |
R50 - no, Signal App controversy came out before his seat went through an election. They wanted to get the Republican winner sworn in and established in his seat in Congress - I would think.
Were there other things involved? Probably. But I think they waited this out and he felt comfortable that he would keep his position and then BAM.

My only question about this situation is whether his departure puts the fear of God into other appointees or if they feel safe because they think they're more loyal and therefore untouchable, not recognizing that #ETTD is an ironclad law of nature.

I don't understand: I showed him the following documentary evidence that my iPhone had been infected with a virus that would add journalist Jeffrey Goldberg to any group conversation and he told me that with such "prima facial"* evidence, to him I was completely and totally exonerated.
* I think he meant "prima facie".

Well, Harvard grad Elise Stefanik.
How does it feel that Trump nominated you, then denied you, the UN Ambassador job and now see that Waltz idiot walk right into that job.
You coveted that job, not least because you wouldn't have to deal with your idiot constituents anymore, just that idiot Trump.
Hurts, does it?

The look on Suzy Wiles's face. She's probably one of the sanest in the West Wing.
If we think the White House medical office under Ronnie "Feelgood" Jackson over-prescribed all manner amphetamines, sedatives, benzos, and twilight anesthesia, it must be a revolving door free pill mill for the WH staff this administration.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | May 2, 2025 12:40 AM |
Ronnie Jackson is a speed freak. There are so many videos of him tweaked out and publicly speaking (many of those at CPAC), it is a disturbing sight to see. And I have no doubt that he overprescribed amphetamines to POTUS as well.
Now I have a theory as to why Trump 2.0 looks a lot of the time much more apathetic than Trump 1.0, let alone sleepy with mouth ajar (esp. when he's facing a judge in court): the theory is that his blood pressure got worse during the last four years (hence the blood thinning meds, hence the regular bruises on his hands, heavily made up in orange toner on his very white short-fingered hands #FAIL) and he now can only be administered regular amphetamine doses, preferably Dexedrine (the dextroamphetamine that easily crosses the BBB and is easier on the heart) than Adderall (the racemic form, that is harder on the cardiovascular system) and possibly also to take them only orally, rather than snort them. Just a hunch from another aging pharmaceutical amphetamine (ab)user.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | May 2, 2025 1:04 AM |
The back story is that as much of an asshole as Mike Waltz is, fundamentally he is just an asshole Repig and he's really not MAGA enough for Trump.
Trump doesn't really care about the United Nations, so that's where Waltz is being placed.
As reported by Ben Rhodes on MSNBC today. After serving in previous administrations, Ben says that there is no way that a secretary of state (Rubio) can do both jobs (state and national security advisor), so word is Rubio is there just to go on TV and defend Trump, while Trump will be his own national security adviser, which means it won't get done. There is essentially no one working in national security for this criminal and chaotic Trump regime--and that's the way Trump wants it. And oh yeah, Trump realizes that Hegseth is incompetent and spends most of his time doing nothing and working out with the troops, but as far as managing the Pentagon--well, that's not happening. Thank you, Ben Rhodes.

A blood thinner to treat hypertension, r79? This is the first I've heard of it. And HBP usually develops much younger, especially with Trump’s diet. He's had balance problems and drags his right leg. Remember when he nearly took a header trying to get in the stunt garbage truck? No doctor would prescribe blood thinners to an elderly person with balance problems, unless...
He's had a CVA (a stroke). Which may explain the leg dragging phenomenon. God knows what sorts of conditions Trump has besides the obvious intellectual impairments and mental illnesses.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | May 2, 2025 1:39 AM |
Trump was already on his second National Security Advisor by this time in his first administration after firing Michael Flynn.
Trump eventually had 6 different National Security Advisors during his first term.
