This one looks promising. I hope it's not a letdown like many horror movies have been lately
It's on my list, OP.

I really did not care for "Barbarian", which people went apeshit for, but I am intrigued by the plot of this and some of the commentary I've seen from reviewers on YouTube suggests this is a much better film (I watched one review from a guy who also didn't love "Barbarian", but he gave this film a major stamp of approval). Amy Madigan's character absolutely sinister and I need to know what the fuck is going on. I'm gonna go see it tomorrow night after I get off work.

This looks good. I wonder if it’s going to make some type of metaphorical social commentary on school shootings.

Love that picture of Kristi Noem without her makeup, R2.

Barbarian is a direct rip off of, "Castle Freak", which the director never acknowledges.

I just saw this tonight. It was a lot of fun; very compelling and told through interlocking segments which all converge together. That mode of storytelling can be hit or miss, but it worked well here. I still don't quite know what to make of the entire thing, but I found it mostly riveting. Very atmospheric too, and at times funny.
Also, Amy Madigan absolutely fucking steals the entire movie. Her performance is of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" proportions. I did not expect this from her. It is worth watching for her alone.

It has pretty good reviews, but I've been to the theater way too many times this summer. I'll wait for streaming.

It's about Boomers feeding off the younger generations.
