And what did you think?
Who here has seen "Death Becomes Her" on Broadway

Saw it in Chicago and found some parts hilarious but not as much as they'd hoped. And I thought the leads would be encouraged to lose weight, but it appears they've fattened them up for slaughter. The stair scene was amazing. Michelle Williams left us cold and I was shocked they didn't replace her.

Meh. Fun but completely forgettable

Agree... it was put together by talented people, and it's funny but the idea isn't strong enough to justify its existence. I liked the cast, though.

Oddly for a show with strong female leads, it was Christopher Sieber’s number that stuck with me most. He performs it really well.
Michelle Williams is so boring and the role is pretty thankless. They could save so much money having just a regular Broadway name, or go the other route and have a truly big star. The way it is, it’s just a pointless waste of what is surely an inflated salary.

Michelle Williams struck me as tonally very different from the rest of the cast. They were in a broad comedy and she was not. (I saw it in previews so perhaps that's shifted). It is a thankless role.

I’ve heard a bootleg of an early preview and the new cast recording, along with some of the clips they’ve shared. I have to agree about Williams. She looks great but seems very stiff. And her voice is too “pop” for the role, IMO.
