Shein hikes US prices as much as 377% ahead of tariff spikes
FAST-FASHION giant Shein Group raised US prices of its products from dresses to kitchenware ahead of imminent tariffs on small parcels, in an early sign of the potential effect of the trade war on American consumers.
Most of the hikes in US prices came on Apr 25, with markups significantly higher in some categories than others, according to data compiled by Bloomberg News. The average price for the top 100 products in the beauty and health category increased by 51 per cent from Thursday, with several of the items more than doubling in price. For home and kitchen products and toys, the average jump was more than 30 per cent, led by a massive 377 per cent increase in the price of a 10-piece set of kitchen towels. For women’s clothing, the rise was 8 per cent.

That will kill their business. Their business model is cheap, nasty garbage that falls apart after a few wears sold online.

Fast fashion is cancer, the EU has been pushing back for years now. But on environmental grounds, which Americans obviously don't give a shit about. So T is doing what should have been done a long time ago, even if for all the wrong reasons and using bad economics.

Americans have proved over and over and over that they care for nothing and no-one except themselves R2. Americans don't even care for each other.
