He couldn't make it because he is meeting with his conscience..
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will not attend today’s White House event due to “scheduling conflicts.”

*Cut to Jalen making appointments to the DMV, get a haircut, give blood*
"I'm booked solid - wish I could though, too many important things I gotta do today"

He’s been standing on integrity. He did something else to snub Trump around the election I just cannot remember.

This deserves a wet juicy service of fellation to completion for him.

"Scheduling conflicts" is intergrity? Lame.
He should have given the EXACT reason why he wouldn't attend. Call out his racism. These MAGA assholes would do it if it were a democrat.
Not impressed. We're beyond being cutesy at this point.

R4, you’re why I hate us.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 29, 2025 12:49 AM |
R4, being from Philly, I can tell you that it isn’t Jalen’s style to say anything about how he’s feeling. I swear, he has to be the chillest person on the planet.
Did I mention he’s pretty hot, too?

Leaving politics aside, this guy (Jalen Hurts) pings from heaven.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 29, 2025 1:03 AM |
He’s on his honeymoon. Why would he cut that short for Dump? He already met Obama…he’s good.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 29, 2025 1:05 AM |
R8, he was just at the Time100 gala, and when someone asked him if he was going to the WH, he stared off into space and said nothing. It’s obvious he just didn’t want to go. A lot of black players also skipped the ceremony.

R4. I agree. Well said.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 29, 2025 1:12 AM |
R4 Not really. Doing that would allow MAGA world to spin him into some Trump hater who they will then target. If calling Trump out as a racist was an effective strategy then Hillary would have just completed her second term.

The over the top kinda hot Italian-American coach seemed to be beaming. I took him as MAGA from the start.

It’s not because of racism. He probably didn’t go because his wife said not to.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 29, 2025 7:08 PM |
R14, really? Most of the black players didn’t go but Jalen didn’t go because his wife told him not to? 🙄🙄🙄
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 29, 2025 7:26 PM |
Good for him
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 29, 2025 7:29 PM |
I suspect the poster was saying to call out Trump’s racism.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 29, 2025 8:01 PM |
R15, he just got married and he’s still on his honeymoon. Some of the players who didn’t go aren’t even in the country right now.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 29, 2025 11:19 PM |
R18, There is absolutely no information or proof he’s on his honeymoon. He was just in the US for the Time100 event, and he had already been married by then. He just did not want to go. Every player that skipped the event was black btw. Why is it hard for you to accept they didn’t want to interact with a blatant racist?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 29, 2025 11:40 PM |
Well why wouldn’t any of them say that, R19? With exception to a few like Hurts, most of these guys are chirping on Twitter daily about every other goddamned thing but won’t speak up about ducking this event because they hate Trump?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 29, 2025 11:43 PM |
On X all the MAGAs are outraged. “Respect the office.” “Now you won’t be able to tell your grandchildren…” “I’m no longer an Eagles fan. Fuck them.” You know, just another day of rage.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 29, 2025 11:48 PM |
Who knows, r20. Dump is extremely vindictive. I might not say anything if I were a prominent athlete with a nice income, now that Dump is in charge of the FBI and IRS. In the past, almost every athlete showed up to the WH to be honored by the president. Not so with Dump. I am sure if this were any other president, most of the team would have been there.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 29, 2025 11:56 PM |
R20 Bruh it’s not rocket science. They’re picking their battles while still respecting the presidency. It ain’t a fucking coincidence. Every fucking black athlete on that team is choosing to not visit the White House. Use your mafuckin common sense.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 29, 2025 11:59 PM |
The only people making the trip to the White House since January 20th are asslickers and racists. Oh, and Bill Maher.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 30, 2025 12:05 AM |
If these rich and powerful men with big voices won’t speak against Trump, then who the fuck is gonna do it?
Chauncey Gardner Johnson, one of the loudest men on the planet. Any other time, the guy can’t shut up for two minutes. Every team he’s ever been on wishes they could stick a cork in his mouth. But when it comes to this, not a fucking peep? Darius Slay, another one on Twitter everyday AND he has a podcast, that’s how much he fucking talks, yet NOTHING about the trip? If that’s the case, then you’re not really making a statement.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 30, 2025 12:06 AM |
I'll start respecting the presidency again when the man in the White House does.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 30, 2025 12:10 AM |
Hurts was never going to go because he and his wife both loathe Trump. As mentioned above it's not really this guy's style to make a big fuss. He doesn't like the man and if he purposely planned other things at the same time it was probably intentional. He owes nobody nothing but he just doesn't want to go the White House with a president he does not support or like. He has the right to not go and not need to explain. He's never lied and when asked was pretty direct that he would not be going even if he didn't say it out loud.
