I had sea cow, with fingernails.

by Anonymousreply 4April 27, 2025 3:05 AM

You always include your withered finger in the image. Wrinkled with dirty looking long fingernails,a strange fetish.

by Anonymousreply 5April 27, 2025 3:05 AM

A chicken pot pie and a bottle of wine.

by Anonymousreply 6April 27, 2025 3:07 AM

I’d imagined others would’ve been jealous had they known of my tonight’s dinner choice of a toasted oat bread Swiss cheese scrambled eggs sandwich, OP, but I have to admit that it looks like you did a good job and that probably tasted great. 👍

by Anonymousreply 7April 27, 2025 3:08 AM

Roast lamb, new potatoes, broccoli, green beans, and flan.

Served at a dinner party today.

by Anonymousreply 8April 27, 2025 3:09 AM

And then you claim to have prepared the meal and you use plastic utensils.

I always use plastic utensils so I can just toss them and not have more dishes to clean.

by Anonymousreply 11April 27, 2025 3:12 AM

I appreciate your pics, a complete turn off and discourages me from eating food

by Anonymousreply 12April 27, 2025 3:14 AM

Cod filets with a miso sauce on top, lacinto kale, and potato chips.

Looks delicious OP

by Anonymousreply 17April 27, 2025 4:11 AM

That pork looks awful fatty...you should be ashamed

by Anonymousreply 18April 27, 2025 4:30 AM

Did you have dessert, R10, or just figure you didn't need it?

by Anonymousreply 19April 27, 2025 4:10 PM

It was my brother’s birthday so we had a little party at my mom’s house. We ordered out from this absolutely delicious Italian place…antipasto salad, garlic bread, lobster ravioli and chicken francese. We had blackout cake from Ladybird bakery in Brooklyn for dessert. Everything was spectacular.

We sat out on my momʼs porch afterwards, sipping champagne.

Just a splendid evening overall.

by Anonymousreply 20April 27, 2025 4:19 PM

Cajun chicken and rice I meal prepped. Working this weekend unfortunately.

by Anonymousreply 21April 27, 2025 4:40 PM

Ordered in…

by Anonymousreply 22April 27, 2025 4:49 PM

I attended (not really a cook) a dinner of rib roast, baked potato and caprese salad. Delicious!

by Anonymousreply 23April 27, 2025 5:12 PM

Your mom.

by Anonymousreply 24April 27, 2025 5:19 PM

by Anonymousreply 25April 27, 2025 5:20 PM

R5 and her dry, cracked, ashy palms

by Anonymousreply 26April 27, 2025 5:40 PM

Vegetarian chili. It just wasn't the same.

Maybe I'll fry and crumble some ground beef into it..

by Anonymousreply 27April 27, 2025 5:48 PM

Spaghetti. With Oreo Rice Krispy treats as dessert.

by Anonymousreply 28April 27, 2025 10:09 PM

Chicken breast, sauteed in a pan, then cubed onto iceberg lettuce, tossed with ranch dressing. Keebler coconut chocolate chip cookies and pomegranate lemonade.

by Anonymousreply 29April 27, 2025 10:22 PM

Pork chops an' applesauce!

by Anonymousreply 30April 27, 2025 10:24 PM

I’m marinating a filet in red wine, oyster sauce, soy sauce and garlic. I’m making a baked potato and asparagus to accompany it. Extra butter on that potato, as this could be my last meal, since I just found a deer mouse in my house and I live in Mammoth Lakes, CA.

by Anonymousreply 31April 27, 2025 10:30 PM

Grilled steaks (fillets), asparagus, portobellos,... baked potstoes, Caesar salad, Texas toast

by Anonymousreply 32April 27, 2025 10:38 PM

Vol au Vent chicken, à la king using cream of mushroom soup, in store-bought pastry shells. With steamed frozen peas and tomatoes in olive oil & cider vinegar. The chicken was leftover from a supermarket cooked rotisserie bird.

My 86 year-old mother-in-law lives with us and she loves this. It's one of our Saturday meals. I don't mind catering to her, she's easy to please and she's a nice old lady.

by Anonymousreply 33April 27, 2025 10:46 PM

Have we moved on to Sunday now?

Baked cod with lemon and garlic sauce, melanze di Mamma Rosa (roasted eggplant salad), simple Italian potato salad.

by Anonymousreply 34April 27, 2025 11:02 PM

I’m making Sunday dinner so cacio peppi spaghetti and a nice salad . I would add meat balls but I don’t feel like it

by Anonymousreply 35April 27, 2025 11:04 PM

by Anonymousreply 36April 27, 2025 11:06 PM

Käseschnitte mit Rind (kind of like Pain perdu with added Moitie/Moitie and beef). Gâteau aux pommes et framboises

by Anonymousreply 37April 27, 2025 11:19 PM

Mesls are overrated. Grazing is where it's at.

by Anonymousreply 38April 27, 2025 11:31 PM

I make a farro, roasted cauliflower, beans, and cheese casserole. Make it often because you can change up the flavor profile however you want. Today I went in a mexican direction with pickled red onions and seranno peppers, taco seasoning, pinto beans, and cotija.

by Anonymousreply 39April 27, 2025 11:53 PM

It looks like a broiled human heart.

by Anonymousreply 40April 28, 2025 1:35 AM

I haven’t had a pork chop in forever.

by Anonymousreply 41April 28, 2025 5:46 AM

Thanks, R33 - nothing I made tonight was difficult. I'd post recipes here, but I don't want to be the new Gerg. However, Gerg never linked to his recipes, which pissed me off because I knew they weren't his. Three dishes for dinner would require three posts, which seems excessive. Like Tiffany Trump's poosay, no one wants to see that!

by Anonymousreply 42April 28, 2025 5:47 AM

A nice chianti and some Fava beans.

by Anonymousreply 43April 28, 2025 7:19 AM

A bowl of frozen cherries and fat-free milk.

by Anonymousreply 44April 28, 2025 7:32 AM

Ginger pork stir fry and an Arnold Palmer

by Anonymousreply 45April 28, 2025 7:35 AM

Where is Greg these days? I enjoyed his posts.

by Anonymousreply 46April 28, 2025 11:39 AM

R46 GERG!

by Anonymousreply 47April 28, 2025 8:49 PM

Hummingbird wings braised with the essence of caviar essential oils- served on candied nasturtium leaves sprinkled with gold dust.
