I have to say, Macron's move was most stealth; it was deliberate, yet subtle. It no doubt took Trump a couple of minutes (or maybe longer than that), so figure out what happened. And no doubt Zelensky got the message too, particularly useful after the way Trump & JD treated him.

It's easy to make fun of politicians for being hacks, but they're subtle moments like that that make you realize why these individuals are at top of the pyramid. Likewise, I could see Prince William pulling some similar very subtle, but very distinct move to signal that he has no use for you.

They shook hands at the offering of peace during the funeral mass. Melania had to prompt him to shake Macron’s hand though. Twice.

Who knows where Macrons hand had been though.

Macron was unable to avoid the handshake at the actual funeral as they were seated with just two people in between them.
