ha. is it made of polyester like everything else we wear

by Anonymousreply 1April 26, 2025 5:58 PM

Kind of expensive for what it is.

I love the drop down menu selection "Shop All Bottoms"

I recently got this ad on some other site. None of the clothes look anything special. Where does the 'bear' fit in?

Bland colors - basic cuts - graphic tees are snooze-worthy.

What the fuck are they thinking? The brand name is one thing and then it seems to want to go after straight gym bros with minimal style?

Are there snaps for the butt part?

by Anonymousreply 4April 26, 2025 6:34 PM

Only sluts wear shorts that short.

by Anonymousreply 5April 26, 2025 6:37 PM

I guess the phrase Big and Tall has negative connotations.

R5 - I love short shorts - like the ones we had in the 80s. I'm sick of the shorts at or past the knee. If that makes you a slut, then fine by me.

R6 - I don't see a lot of larger sizes, although there are XL and XXL.

From the founder - so basically he has a sweatshop in Bangladesh and donates $0.10 for a school meal in India per purchase. Ugh - how transparent can you be? His father is in the apparel industry and he went to Bangladesh to tour his father's factories.

Our Story The inspiration for Bearbottom Clothing came in 2012 when I visited Bangladesh for the first time as a high school student. I saw first-hand the need for quality jobs and basic necessities like clothing and returned home with a desire to make an impact.

Growing up on the West Coast of Florida, adventure-ready clothing was essential to my everyday. I wasn't able to find clothes with the features and comfort I needed year-round, so I decided to create them. I realized this was my chance to help the people of Bangladesh, one of the largest apparel-manufacturing countries in the world. I had the opportunity to provide jobs and donate clothing through a buy-one-give-one model.

After over a year of development, Bearbottom Clothing launched in January 2014. Since then, we’ve expanded our team and mission to make the most comfortable and versatile menswear around. As part of our growing mission, we now proudly donate a school meal to a child in India for every item sold.

"we now proudly donate a school meal to a child in India for every item sold."

Which consists of a 2 cent bowl of rice.

How mighty, mighty generous of these mother fuckers.

Bear bottom, but the biggest size for sale is XXL. That seems like a mistake.

I looked through the site to see if these clothes are something other than polyester made in an Asian warehouse. It isn't

50% Cotton / 42% Polyester / 8% Spandex Machine Washable Imported

by Anonymousreply 13April 26, 2025 8:52 PM

I honestly think this is a straight dude who came up with the name and not having any idea of a reference to gay men and bears.

But he's now CLEARLY targeting his ads towards gays. I'd have to feel the clothes because his unbelievable claims of comfort and durability, yadda, yadda - just seems templated remarks.

R13 - the shorts are 97% cotton and 3% lycra. What were you looks at?

by Anonymousreply 14April 26, 2025 8:53 PM

Bottom sluts
