I was able to buy one at Walmart and another at BestBuy after over an hour and a half of refreshing three different shopping carts across two laptops and a phone around 1:30AM EDT.
Thankfully Spawn Wave turned me onto Jake Randall who's still running a YT livestream & chat re: to purchase across the platforms, but it was still arduous.
Gamestop pre-orders start at 11AM EDT online and in line at the stores.

My brother was able to buy 2. I went on the Walmart site, of all places and got in line.
After about half an hour I was informed I had one in my list. My bro purchased it while he was on the target app.
A few minutes later he was able to procure one from Target.
I’m sure he will sell the second one at a premium. I should get a finders fee since it was my idea to go to the Walmart app, plus, I did have an account with them. Already. 🤗

R3 Among all the shops that sold pre-orders, Walmart was best experience. It took a while, but their website didn’t break down as badly as Target’s site did and they didn’t start as late as as Best Buy did.

Right, R4, Target did glitch for a little bit, but my brother was able to see the purchase thru.
He tried the Best Buy and the Game Stop pages but all were crashed, I guess.
Plus maybe the fact that we were on mountain time zone helped somehow.

Why would it be a parody? The Switch 2 is a real thing.
It’s been sold out in many places. People who preordered got theirs on the day of release.
The system has already sold about 3.5 million units in the first few days of release.
