I honestly don't understand why Rubio accepted the nomination. His political career will be over after the administration ends. He could have graciously declined, saying something like "I don't think my work in the Senate is done yet. I'll be here to shepherd through the GOP agenda," blah, blah, blah. I'm wager that the majority of cheeto's administration accepted because they'd prefer to become very, very wealthy after leaving office. They expect to make a fortune - or at least more money than they'd ever make otherwise.

Rubio likely realized that being a senator wouldn't be nearly as lucrative for him, and he's never be president.

Are they really going to have lucrative futures? I don't know. They might get caught up in fallout from the inevitable disasters that will happen. Legal problems, too. Trump’s the only one who has immunity.

After leaving office, provided there's still an economy and even an America, they'll all grift the remaining MAGA faithful with speeches, personal appearances, books, etc. Those trained seals will lap it up.
