I was looking for tragus scars, and if she had a tragus lift, it's an amazing one. However, she is employing the Ariana Grande ponytail lift, and has contouring on her nose (I initially thought that she had her nose done).

Why people aren't talking more about the pony tail pull back and go straight to plastic surgery is just weird.

You wouldn't wear that hairstyle if you've had recently plastic surgery (last 6-12 months) as it would really show scars. Most plastic surgery people throw their hair down over their ears and their forehead.

She behaved really annoyingly when she was in the running for Best Supporting Actress for "Les Miserables"--there was something manic about her then. She bitched that people misspelled her name as "Ann" rather than "Anne" (which is why many DLers still refer to her as "AnnE"), and she was nearly hysterical the night of the ceremony. Nicole Kidman had the best success at being both, but now her plastic surgery-morphed looks have become so bizarre and inhuman she can only really believably play rich bitches on streaming miniseries.

R70 - I don't know about that - she positioned her career as more light comedies and romcoms early on. Outside of Les Mis, I can't think of a role where she played a very serious, dark part.

She was a kind of "America's sweetheart" actress - beautiful, fumbly, goofy, huge smile, etc. That only goes so far - particularly romcoms when you're 42.

I know they were going to make Devil Wears Prada part 2 where Meryl's character competes against Emily Blunt's character. In the age of declining print readership, Meryl has to go toe-to-toe with Emily's character who is all about the online presence. I don't think there's room for Anne in that except a small side role - having lunch to catch-up with Emily type of thing.

I can't WAIT for the next DWP - I just hope it happens. Still in development - no filming yet, but slated for Nov of this year. Fingers crossed.
