Senator (R) Lisa Murkowski is AFRAID of Retaliation
by Anonymous | reply 105 | July 2, 2025 3:08 AM |
Does she carry a gun?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 17, 2025 3:09 PM |
She’s not wrong. We got threats last summer after my spouse went on CNN.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 17, 2025 3:14 PM |
You know who else was afraid, Lisa? The troops who stormed the beaches at Normandy.
It's time to grow a pair and honor the oath you took to serve the American people.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 17, 2025 3:15 PM |
We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 17, 2025 3:22 PM |
If she was *really* brave, she'd switch parties from [R] to [D] and say fuck it.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 17, 2025 3:30 PM |
Pampered nepo senator. A lifetime in politics with nothing to show for it. Plus this has been going on since the dawn of politics. Go get a fainting couch and stop boring people. Corrupt bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 17, 2025 3:31 PM |
What did those people think would happen when they shamelessly pandered to the MAGA cult and their leader? They had a chance to get rid of him in January 2021 but they thought "he learned his lesson" and he shouldn't suffer any real consequences for trying to overthrow the government. Leopards, faces, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 17, 2025 3:38 PM |
R2 I’m so sorry that happened. I hope whatever your spouse spoke on made a difference and was worth whatever came afterward
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 17, 2025 3:41 PM |
Lies she is afraid she will be primaried and lose her cushy job. Speak up and speak out...that is your job.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 17, 2025 3:42 PM |
R10, she did vote to convict him in January 2021.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 17, 2025 3:44 PM |
She should say exactly what she wants as hard and direct as she wants but like any coward she should do it anonymously like I do.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 17, 2025 3:47 PM |
Curious R2- What are you folks doing to stay safe in spite of threats?-some of us may also need to speak publicly.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 17, 2025 3:48 PM |
I'm so sick of these two - Murkowski and that concerned bitch. Grow some balls, ladies.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 17, 2025 3:49 PM |
Lisa should lie down with Collin’s and lick.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 17, 2025 3:49 PM |
R13 Did she sleep with Trump, too?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 17, 2025 3:50 PM |
If she puts keeping her job above FUCKING DOING HER JOB she needs to resign.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 17, 2025 3:51 PM |
Murkowski and Collins should play mixed doubles with MTG and Boebert.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 17, 2025 3:51 PM |
R19 Are you kidding? I only do 10's. Have you seen my list? Melania is a smoking hot Russian pee hooker...I mean beautiful model.

by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 17, 2025 3:52 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 17, 2025 3:52 PM |

Is Senator Murkowski the first trans woman in Alaska to become a senator?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 17, 2025 3:57 PM |
What? I didn’t know she was a trans.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 17, 2025 3:58 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 17, 2025 4:03 PM |
Getting primaried and put out to pasture during this administration would be a godsend (especially if you plan to do nothing about it). Lean in, Lisa.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 17, 2025 4:06 PM |
Ate least she does....the other spineless GOP, just make whispers in private and salute their leader in public.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 17, 2025 4:08 PM |
Lisa Murkowski has consistently been been one of the few brave ones, so I’m at a loss to understand the animus she attracts here. But then this is DL, where a DEMOCRATIC senator from West Virginia was regularly attacked for not representing his constituency as if they were Californians.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 17, 2025 4:09 PM |
[quote]But then this is DL, where a DEMOCRATIC senator from West Virginia was regularly attacked for not representing his constituency as if they were Californians.
That DEMOCRAT was responsible for tanking Biden's approval ratings and helping to give us Trump.
Politics is the last place for purity tests.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 17, 2025 4:12 PM |
We just want her to do more.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 17, 2025 4:20 PM |
That DEMOCRAT, R34, improbably from the REDDEST state in the country, was responsible for the Democrats controlling the Senate the first two years of the Biden administration. That alone should’ve been enough for all the purists. But there’s more. He voted to confirm every one of Biden’s record number of judicial nominees. Those judges may well be our only salvation in the existential battle in which we find ourselves.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 17, 2025 4:21 PM |
R34 Tanking Bidens approval ratings? :-)
-JHC Biden was becoming senile. He was no longer fit to run.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 17, 2025 4:22 PM |
She and Collins attract our ire, because they form an ineffectual, tepid opposition to Trump and MAGA. If they were straight up motherfuckers they'd get less criticism, because there's no "high-minded" cant from the likes of Hawley, Cruz, and Cotton. We know they're motherfuckers who can be counted on predictably to be motherfuckers.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 17, 2025 4:22 PM |
If you read the full content of what she said, she continues to say that she *is* speaking up (although with some fear) but admits that the Republican Senate and House are not fulfilling their Constitutional duties.
I hope Democrats in both chambers are identifying Republicans who would support impeachment so we can proceed with that process at some point. It may seem unlikely but if the level of concern in the Senate and House are as high as she seems to indicate, maybe it could work. At this point I don't see any other solution. Waiting 2 years for the mid-terms is not going to work.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 17, 2025 4:23 PM |
We clearly would not be in the same place if there were just a handful of more republicans senators like Murkowski.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 17, 2025 4:26 PM |
In other words she’s complicit.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 17, 2025 4:30 PM |
[quote]improbably from the REDDEST state in the country, was responsible for the Democrats controlling the Senate the first two years of the Biden administration.
Yeah, and along with Sinema, helped to crush or hinder any major legislation that Biden tried to pass. Screwing him over and making anyone associated with his cabinet political poison.
[quote]Those judges may well be our only salvation in the existential battle in which we find ourselves.
I cheer for the democrats who worked with the president as well as approved his judges. We wouldn't be in this battle if it weren't for "democrats" like Manchin and Sinema.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 17, 2025 4:32 PM |
As a senator from a purple state, Sinema merited all the brickbats. Manchin, from the rubiest of red states, did not. Unless you prefer Jim Justice to him.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 17, 2025 4:36 PM |
I like her a lot. Wish she’d at least become an independent.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | April 17, 2025 4:38 PM |
I have the feeling that Fetterman will be an even bigger disappointment than either Manchin or Sinema.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 17, 2025 4:39 PM |
R43 Somehow, I don't think West Virginia's would be opposed to lowering drug costs and health care costs. You just need a democrat skilled enough to frame it to them.
The rest of your strawman argument is eye rolling.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 17, 2025 4:43 PM |
You got us into this jam by voting Repug, gurl, and you can help get us out.
If all of you pussy rethugs stood with the Democrats, you could gave him impeached and REMOVED THEN IN PRISON within a week, but you’re too scared of his cult.
You brought thus in yourselves and the WORLD
by Anonymous | reply 47 | April 17, 2025 4:50 PM |
Quite the slow learner are you, R46, if - after all these years, no less - you (still) believe the most MAGA voters in the union would be open to the arguments of a “skilled” Democrat.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | April 17, 2025 4:54 PM |
R48
Biden and Harris had four fucking years and the entire DOJ to bring down Trump. And they ended up not only doing nothing they gift wrapped the white house win for him.

by Anonymous | reply 53 | April 17, 2025 5:28 PM |
A lot of keyboard warriors here. As if Lisa Murkowski thought she was risking her life & that of her loved ones when, in the pre-Trump era, she entered the political arena.

by Anonymous | reply 57 | April 17, 2025 6:34 PM |

Cheney got primaried and lost her seat, and Kinzinger didn’t run because he knew he wouldn’t be elected. At least Murkowski is speaking out while she’s still in the Senate.

Harris was VEEP which is the least effectual job in DC. You cannot blame failure to prosecute Dump on her. If it'd been her call, his prosecution would have started January 2025.

R36, I have a serious & genuine question for you. Please answer as plainly & as honestly as you can:
How fucked do you personally believe we are? How far out at sea are we right now, & what vessel are we on?
Can we still turn this around, & if so, how do we do so without being disappeared or held hostage or without having family members disappeared/held hostage?
by Anonymous | reply 73 | April 18, 2025 10:27 AM |
Ironic that a woman who has consistently braved MAGA hatred to vote in several key moments (like impeachment) on the right side of history, who has the added bravery to say what is not being said, is the focus of such animus when there are dozens of male politicians on both sides who have pussied out. It has been obvious that any GOPer who bucks the MAGAs is being threatened. She confirmed it. Try being an elderly woman with children and grandchildren to protect knowing the threats are backed by the POTUS. Pelosi’s husband got brained with a hammer. As someone else said eloquently, it’s one thing to risk your own life. It’s unthinkable when your family is at risk.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | April 18, 2025 10:40 AM |
R53, interesting that you should point this out because I personally have an inkling that what you describe is EXACTLY what’s taking place & I do not believe most Americans realize what’s actually happening behind the scenes. How would they? The silence leading to denials is all part of how this all works.
I’m surprised others aren’t speaking up about this more. Something is going on behind the scenes here that is more horrific than we realize or care to question. The way this is happening, the speed in which it’s happening and precisely how it’s happening is beyond anything we have ever, ever witnessed, so Murkowski isn’t being dishonest or a lame, tepid excuse of a human being when she states that she’s never been “here” before.
If we make it out of this situation, I believe we might learn of some shit we never could actually conceive, but if we pay close attention, the clues are right there & pretty obvious. And anyone who is currently actively resisting is probably being funded by deep pockets, which probably includes top level security guarding them 24/7 while they’re on a non stop public appearances tour.
Something is up behind the scenes. I think we’re in REALLY deep, & some people’s lives are at risk
Maybe it’s my cold meds talking, but this time it feels VERY different than it did from 2016-2020, & I’m afraid we’re in really deep shit, & some people’s lives are trying to tell us this, & still… we refuse to hear them out & listen.
No excuses for those who willingly & gleefully allowed themselves to become compromised & complicit years & years ago, but I don’t believe we’re currently able to understand the entire picture.
Fuck, I honestly hope I’m wrong, but I hope people take this to heart because if I’m wrong right now? I won’t be wrong very, very soon.
I believe we have MONTHS, not years.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | April 18, 2025 10:48 AM |

All of this pussyfooting around, mealy mouthed double speak is dumb and it does nothing to help rally those who can and would stand up to fight.
If you came right out and said, “the orange traitor has personally threatened my family with job loss, physical harm or property destruction” then people may understand.

Supposedly many Republicans in Congress are appalled by the actions of the Trump Administration. Then speak out! History, if we have a future, will not be kind. And that goes for centrist Democrats like Schumer. Where have you been lately?
