Thanks for the outstanding link OP! We all loved watching it and seeing exactly what you're talking about...

Reductive.

Thanks for posting it, r3

Ok that's missing the Bad Romance encore she did
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 12, 2025 9:42 AM |
big production. maybe she shouldn't play the guitar and walk and sing at the same time because she had to look at her fingers.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 12, 2025 9:50 AM |
Her schtick is so tiresome.
Not nearly as fun or exciting as Tension 2025.

Zzzzzzz
My sweetie niece lives in Palm Desert and therefore needs to go to Coachella every year so I try to stay informed but this is garbage.

Why is everything black and red? So gloomy and you can't see what is happening with everything bathed in that deep red light. Very boring to watch.
And everything has to be SO SERIOUS.

Performance art extraordinaire.

"Performance art extraordinaire."
Is it, though?
Art usually has a meaning even if it is meant to be devoid of one.
These are just shitty pop tunes.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 12, 2025 10:33 AM |
It's great...I just wish the stage had been lit a bit brighter.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 12, 2025 10:44 AM |
R11. Yes, it is. It's music, dance and a production that overwhelms, draws you in and excites.
It's not, as you say, 'shitty pop tunes.'
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 12, 2025 10:47 AM |
So where was the excitement? The overwhelming? This is just the same shit she's been doing over and over.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 12, 2025 10:49 AM |
Judas, Abracadabra, Disease etc = shitty pop tunes trying very hard to be art

"Since we first met, Taylor's been drawing and painting all over me," Gaga wrote in her editor's letter for the issue. "Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas. We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago. We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism and we talked about how people's hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence."

Earlier in the night there was some dude trying to be Freddie Mercury. I felt he was copying him too literwlly to be interesting (and not quite matching up in terms of voice quality) But the cool part was Brian May was there! The guy still slays.

I agree with all the criticism. But I ADORE Gaga. And always will.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 12, 2025 12:37 PM |
I loved it. She really pulled out all the stops and it felt like a real victory lap.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 12, 2025 1:35 PM |
She performed the hell out of it, r19

by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 12, 2025 9:48 PM |
She’s so absurd.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 12, 2025 10:18 PM |
She's getting raved reviews about her performance, comparable to when Beyonce performed at Coachella.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 12, 2025 10:21 PM |
She's a theater kid with a bigger budget.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 12, 2025 11:36 PM |
Do not click on R28’s link - full of pop ups and totally annoying
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 13, 2025 12:00 AM |
Nice try, r29.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 13, 2025 12:08 AM |
Gaga...the production, singing, dancing, everything was Spectacular.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 13, 2025 12:21 AM |
She just does the same songs over and over.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 13, 2025 12:35 AM |
Yeah, I am far from a Gaga fanboy.... this was a big gesture. She easily could have bombed. The gothic Phantom of the Opera seemed so out of touch for the time... or such was my first thought.
But she swung hard for the fences... and hit it out of the park. It helps that she actually can sing.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 13, 2025 12:41 AM |
Chicken fingers!

Benson Boone should be arrested for that cover of Bohemian Rhapsody
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 13, 2025 3:05 AM |
So true, r39. The fact he acted like Fredie made it worse.

Rolling Stone, lol.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 13, 2025 11:08 AM |
Even on this fan video she comes across as very impressive. It's a very Madonna routine but if Madonna was a singer rather than a dancer.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 13, 2025 8:17 PM |
Gaga is brilliant. And, such a fun high energy show.
Unlike Granny Madonna's last geriatric tour.
