My sweetie niece lives in Palm Desert and therefore needs to go to Coachella every year so I try to stay informed but this is garbage.

Why is everything black and red? So gloomy and you can't see what is happening with everything bathed in that deep red light. Very boring to watch.

And everything has to be SO SERIOUS.

Earlier in the night there was some dude trying to be Freddie Mercury. I felt he was copying him too literwlly to be interesting (and not quite matching up in terms of voice quality) But the cool part was Brian May was there! The guy still slays.

I agree with all the criticism. But I ADORE Gaga. And always will.

I loved it. She really pulled out all the stops and it felt like a real victory lap.

Gaga...the production, singing, dancing, everything was Spectacular.

She just does the same songs over and over.

Yeah, I am far from a Gaga fanboy.... this was a big gesture. She easily could have bombed. The gothic Phantom of the Opera seemed so out of touch for the time... or such was my first thought.

But she swung hard for the fences... and hit it out of the park. It helps that she actually can sing.
