I agree with you, R11. Everywhere she goes there is constant Cluster B drama, which could be interesting if it weren't so constant and ugly. I prefer to ignore her most of the time. I miss the Rosie of The Rosie Show. She was charming, funny, and a gracious hostess, except with Tom Selleck who handled her like a gentleman.

There's just so much drama with Rosie. Everything is a drama.

But that said I admire that she is ageing naturally and has been outspoken on gay rights for years. And despite (or because) of having a non binary daughter she's still quite TERFy and questions batshit gender ideology.

I liked the link someone posted awhile back where some guys on a radio show/podcast got ahold of her private number and called her in the middle of the night to prank her.

They ended up getting into a long conversation with her and walked away from it really liking her.

I remember how scary she looked the first time I happened to see her in a NYC coffee shop. I was used to seeing her on her own show, all dolled up, but here, she was without any makeup and in very drab dyke clothes. It was a little shocking!

Another time I was seated behind her and her brother at a Broadway show but they both had such huge heads I couldn't see anything onstage.

Despite all that, I love her and always find the things she has to say compelling and engaging. I wish she still had a TV show. We need her voice out there. I wonder if she gets offers to come back.

I say Roseanne had the talent. Rosie much less so. Both nuts.

Rosie is genuine. I remember when she was a stand-up comic and I always thought she was very funny. Then she had her talk show, not sure when she came out. But I've enjoyed following her career for so many years.

I agree with her politically. I'm glad she has a big mouth and doesn't hold back when it counts. For what it's worth, if one were to spend any time privately with her, I imagine a smart, thoughtful, and interesting person.

She's also sometimes something of a sloppy mess and can spout off with zero thought of what she's saying or how it will be received. Sometimes going off without filters can just sound crazy and she's done that a few times.

Her craziness, however, is but a few drops in a thimble compared to the Hoover Dam of shit that now emanates from the White House on a "good" day. She's nothing like that kind of crazy or addled or stupid or wicked.

I always hated those morning news shows and circles of women taking on radon "issues" of the day, and I don't like her sort of films. I'm not a fan but I'm glad she's around. - in one place or another. She was right up exit the US, and had the means and flexibility to do. I wish her well.
