DYING FOR SEX on HULU

I just started it and am enjoying it.

Who wants to watch a miniseries with Michelle Williams playing a character dying from breast cancer who walks out on her husband to have sex with randos? Certainly not me and, I suspect, many others. This got great reviews, as did Williams, but this is most likely a big ol’ flop for Hulu. It shouldn’t have been greenlit,

Loving it so far, but I've only watched 2 episodes. Will binge the rest over the weekend.

Personally, not really into a sexual soap opera with a straight woman as the focus.

OP, let us know whether men make any impression here, and what the level of male nudity is. Under the circumstances, that’s the only way I would consider watching.

R4. One of her hook ups has a huge dick. Not sure if it's real or a prosthetic. Lots of male butt and I think Rob Delaney is very sexy. If it's not your thing then don't watch but I loved it and the final episode is one of the best things I've ever seen on television.

I haven't watched it but the premise stinks of Eat Pray Love.

People seem to love this (and her) but I can’t bear Michelle Williams—she always seems to be portraying various aspects of moppiness.

She was fucking amazing in Fosse/Verdon and had a good scene in that Casey Affleck film but I don’t think she has the likeability factor needed to carry a show like this where she’s the sympathetic central character. She gives off cunt vibes as a person.

I was slightly distracted by her fillers. Geez, she’s in her early 40s. Must every woman now get cheek filler???

R10. I'm not a fan of Michelle Williams either but I loved her and this. Also, Jenny Slate is amazing as her best friend/caregiver and anyone who has ever been a caregiver can relate to their story.

She definitely seems like a humorless woman in real life. Girl, why so serious?
