Can I ask, when did the world turn against what they call "nepo babies?" It has always and forever been like this in the entertainment industry. I don't get this, "he's nepo, but..." Some of the biggest, celebrated talents in entertainment history have been the children of stars or people in the industry. I ask because it's annoying. As if more unknowns would get a chance if these people didn't exist? That has never been the case. Children have forever and always followed in their parent's footsteps in whatever industry. Nepo is just made up term that signifies nothing, yet people use it as if it has such import.

Nepo babies is at least 2 grudges 1) privilege and access making it easy for nepos and 2). more importantly, the perception that the nepos do NOT have the talent required to sustain the publics attention and appreciation. Ugly models. Mediocre or worse actors. Entrepreneurs with no business acumen. Etc.

But it has always and forever been that way. The good ones remain and the ones who don't have what it takes fall away. I guess it's more a DUH... that is hardly worth really getting upset about. It's like getting upset that pretty people get more attention.
