She's about to do two nights at Madison Square Garden. Heard the first US date, in Chicago, was a big success. Nice to see ol Kylie having this much success five decades into her career. Playing US arenas for the first time ever. I imagine every gay in NY will be at MSG tonight or tomorrow. Are you seeing Kylie on the Tension tour?

Kylie puts on such a good show. She really knows what her fans want.

New York is wrapped up in Kylie Minogue!

I'm booked for tomorrow night. The Canadian shows looked fun.

She should have this type of fame and success worldwide (U.S. included) from the very beginning of her career.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 5, 2025 1:08 AM |
*have had

R6 - well, she's been playing arenas in every other market for decades, so, for the most part, she has had that success. I think it's kind of inspiring to see her achieve this milestone in the U.S. at this stage -- however many years she is into her career (nearly forty years?) I bet MSG was a blast tonight.

I'm glad for Kylie. She has tirelessly worked over 40 years for this moment. The Empire State Building is a perfect match for Kylie.

Cute. Concertgoers dancing on the streets of NY after Kylie's show. Any of you go?

R5 hope you have a great time!

As opposed to DANNII Minogue.

Dannii was apparently at MSG. She's definitely the Lorna to Kylie's Liza. Though I hear Dannii's clothing line with Target has made her a fortune.

Every gay in the tri-state was at MSG Friday. She was amazing!

I'm going to see here in June, here in the UK
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 6, 2025 12:39 PM |
I did! Thank you, R11. Very fun, high energy, and surprisingly poignant when she scanned the audience and reflected on being on that stage at her stage.
She seems like an incredibly sweet and thankful person.

Saw her in Vegas - excellent and a thrill to be so close. Will see her in UK
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 6, 2025 1:54 PM |
Seeing her in Boston on Wednesday night. Canāt wait.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 6, 2025 2:13 PM |
I saw her on Friday. Honest to god, one of the best concerts Iāve ever been to.
What really struck me was how she was connecting with the audience. Weāre in this massive stadium with thousands of people, and it feels like sheās talking to you. The energy was just amazing. I donāt think I sat down the entire show. Set list was perfect, the production was top notch without being over-the-top. Madonna should take notes.
I very seriously considered trying to see if anyone was reselling tickets for the second night.
Romy, the woman who opened for her, was great too.

I was at the Eagle with my boyfriend on Saturday, and it was the busiest Iāve ever seen it when itās not something like Pride, Halloween, or NYE. As I was getting my clothes at the coat check, I said to the coat check guy that I was surprised it was like that, and he looked at me and said āKylie.ā
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 7, 2025 2:49 PM |
I went Friday. I love her BUT all her songs begin to meld together. She really can sing, as she proved with a few acapella moments. I didnāt like the staging of the showāit sort of looked cheap. She was sometimes in the back instead of being front and center.
The choreography was meh and the dancersā costumes strange. The place was packed with gays of course
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 7, 2025 3:14 PM |
Madonna is far more theatrical than Kylie.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 7, 2025 3:15 PM |
She also likes to start her concerts 3-4 hours late and then get pissed at the audience.

The Empire State Building refused to honor Mother Teresa. How can they justify lighting for a pop star who most have never heard of?

r24 - Good for them. Mother Teresa was a monster.

It's a leather bar. I took my sweater and shirt off. I wasn't going to carry them around all night.

by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 10, 2025 5:24 AM |
Tonight in Boston was on FIRE. The show is all killer no filler. The crowd was awesome. I was about 10 feet from her when she was on the B stage.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 10, 2025 5:43 AM |
DC was incredible. I'm not too familiar with all her songs but the staging, colorful costumes, etc was just so much fun.

Apparently the Tension Tour is going to be a DL Moment.
And Iām good with that.

Honestly I only ever hear about this woman on Datalounge. Iāve never heard or met one person whoās referenced her. Ever.

R36, I wasn't really a fan either til I saw her Tuesday night. Now I've been listening to her all week and she has some really great work out there.
Far superior to Gaga.

She strikes in a lot of ways as a version of Madonna who can A) actually sing, and B) never lost the joy of what sheās doing. Sheās about ten years younger than Madonna, but that was the point where Madonna seemed to really go off the rails. Kylie seems to know what works for her, and is just the best version of that.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 11, 2025 11:54 PM |
The interesting thing about Kylie is that her latest music is some of the best of her career. The Disco album is just excellent. She seems to be getting better, unlike most artists.
I think that's why the crowds at the shows are relatively young. Like 20 years younger than her.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 12, 2025 3:07 AM |
I mean, she makes music thatās like custom made for gay clubs and circuit parties. I can see why the Youths are so into her.
I mean, āLights Camera Actionā isnāt my favorite song of hers just to listen to while, say, Iām driving, but put it on a dancefloor at 2AMā¦
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 12, 2025 12:30 PM |
Why would anyone see a concert where they have no idea who the performer is? Tuesday's concert was so amazing that I wanted to see her again but the tickets were out of my budget.

She looks amazing for 56. She often ranks as one of the nicest celebs, according to those cabin crew lists of famous flyers they've encountered.
