Firearms. The other side already has way too many of them.
Sorry, R13. I didn't see your post until I'd started typing.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 4, 2025 8:56 AM |
R13, let's hope the MAGAts buy up all the firearms and bullets and start shooting each other when they start feeling the squeeze.

Rushing for an eight 'o clock curtain every night means giving up a lot of things - but coffee SHOULDN'T BE ONE OF 'EM!

Popcorn, to eat while watching the country self-destruct.

One more thing - Trump has removed the de minimus exemption for China, so if you're ordering a lot of junk from Temu and Shein you can expect those prices to go up significantly too. Do your ordering now.

Coffee isn't an issue for me because I only drink Kona from Hawaii. Veuve Cliquot is a different matter entirely . . .

Bullets.
Bullets can be used to barter in place of cash, eventually.

I got in the habit of adding a batch of TP to my shopping basket. I now have enough TP fro two years.
I bought another 5lbs of rice and another batch of powdered milk.
I am solid for at least six months.

I've bought four bag of my favorite Dominican coffee. I'm afraid it will go stale before use if I order more. I've stocked up on rice, toilet paper, and paper towels. I need to pick up some detergent and dried beans and maybe some canned goods and I'll be good for a while.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 26, 2025 5:16 PM |
So the question is, is stale coffee better than no coffee?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 26, 2025 5:24 PM |
r34 Café Bustelo? God damn, I'm so jealous, can't find that shit anywhere in Europe. Hopefully I'll be able to taste it one day, somehow.

No, Cafe Santo Domingo - It has a cocoa note that I like. I was buying Peet's Cafe Domingo, but it was usually sold out, so I looked elsewhere.

If coffee goes sky high some MAGA type will have had enough and...."solve" the problem for us.
Who would be surprised?

According to a forum about gay escorts:
Many guys say when they travel to Colombia, Brazil, Argentina...you can hire a gorgeous stud for $300 for a whole night. When the same stud comes to America for a few months and 'travels', they charge at least $300 and up for an hour.

We had our new fridge delivered yesterday. I’m looking around for anything else that is likely to break in the next 4 years. I was surprised we got a good deal. Meanwhile, every time I go to a restaurant lately, 2/3 of the customers aren’t there.

I went to PriceRIte market this afternoon. Bananas used to be 39 cents a pound. I haven't bought them in two weeks (still had my receipt in my reusable bag). Today they were 54 cents a pound. My "Fairlife' milk - when Biden was in office I was paying $3.99 a bottle (about a quart). Today I paid $5.29. And the Victor Allen k-cups I always bought there for $9.99 (last I bought was two weeks ago) is now $14.99.
Thanks Trump !
