I am suspicious of Maher’s visit, but he went under the auspices of keeping an open mind and not staying only in his bubble. I’ll be waiting to see if his tune changes.

I was outraged when Joe S. and Mika went to bend the knee at MardaLardo. So much so, that I’ve never tuned in since. But now I’m wondering if they’ve ever been back, or have contact with The Pussygrabber since.

Maher's visit is not different that Joe and Mika's visit. Publicly "just to keep an open mind" but privately to kiss the ring and hope he does not come after them or their money with all the power of the federal government.

Does anyone really think Maher is going to confront Dump in his own luxury compound about anything he does not like? If he did, we would have read a Tweet by now trashing Maher.

Dump is not some unknown new president, we all know what he is about for the last 10 years since he first ran for president. There is nothing new to be open minded about. Dump has not changed. It's Maher that has changed.

Maher has been heading in Trump's direction seeking favor, for years. Anyone who thought he was progressive was mislead. I remember his virulent antipathy towards Muslims, and he was pretty outspoken about it on his shows. There were other things too. He constantly mocked, ridiculed, and criticized Democrats for being too "Woke" or playing the race card, or identity politics, and gave them "advice" on how to stop "whining " and be more effective. They could do nothing right as far as here was concerned.

I watched Maher’s show recently, and it seems to me that the punchlines in his monologues are rather lowbrow and very pandering, which is funny, because he calls out others for pandering but engages in it himself.

He and Ezra Klein were recently agreeing that the Democratic Party needs reforms in its positions, and Klein is certainly not MAGA. Klein was saying that Democrats need to reduce the love of regulation.

I'd rather be woke, which is a Russian psyops word, than anti-woke which is racism, misogyny, homophobia, hate. If this were the early 90s woke would be supporting gay rights, AIDS education, inclusion of more LGBT in movies, TV, and so on.

Maher's show was canceled by Republicans in 2002. He spent 19 years getting even. That's over, so now he's back to both sidesing, and platforming horrible conservatives. Don't forget he gave a voice to some of the worst, most hateful conservatives on his old show.

Maher's number reason for disliking Trump: The fact that Trump has not conceded the 2020 election and continues to say that it was rigged since Maher views that as the greatest threat to democracy. Did Maher ask him about Trump's refusal to concede?
