I think Lennon would have Imagined a world where one of the Beatles could have been portrayed by a black man. SMH.

R1 these types of films don’t need a big star attached. These are the perfect films to cast lesser known actors in.

Sam Mendes truly peaked with his first film, American Beauty. Every film after that one has been turgid Oscar-bait duds.

Harris Dickinson is gorgeous. The others are all meh.

Resemblance obviously authenticates any biopic, and resemblance in this case is minimal. Despite the hate here, Timmy looked and sounded like Dylan, which made the film brilliantly watchable. Mendes and make-up will need to work magic to make this project believable.

Jacob elordi would have made a good George Harrison. Barry looks absolutely nothing like ringo.

I’d be more interested in a series of movies covering four phases of their careers not a separate movie for each Beatles.

Just to confirm for everyone, there will be a Ringo Starr biopic movie released before there is a Madonna biopic movie ever made.

When Chalamet was cast as Dylan, there was a thread about how he didn't look like Dylan. Makeup and move magic can do wonders. And as a friendly reminder, Harris Dickinson is everything.

Timmy looked nothing like Dylan. His imitation in the dialogue scenes made that movie unwatchable.

I imagine they're going to film them all at the same and then do a staggered release as with The Hobbit. I don't see how they could persuade exhibitors to do a conventional release of all four simultaneously.

How do the band associates fit in: Stuart Sutcliffe, Pete Best, Brian Epstein? Do the women appear only with their Beatle, or with all, as in the case of Yoko?

Will each movie be set in a different era: Liverpool and Hamburg; British Invasion of America; India; post-dissolution of group?

I can see multiple bio-pics about the Fab Four, but not by deconstructing their magical alchemy.

Harris Dickinson is such a chameleon that I saw him in three separate performances that I really enjoyed before I realized they were the same actor - Trust (FX as John Paul Getty III), Beach Rats and Triangle of Sadness. In Beach Rats he plays sexy Long Island rough trade coming to terms with his sexuality. You will get a boner.

I have a question to ask about Barry Keoghan.

Have any of you ever felt an instant dislike; disgust, and/or repulsion to an actor upon first sight? And have those feelings only gotten stronger , even after a few months, years or decades have passed since you first laid eyes on this object of your lack of desire?

"Jarhead" kinda flopped since Jake Gyllenhaal was getting way more press and notoriety for Brokeback, which was also released during late 2005.
