Mass murderer Bryan Kohberger is autistic

He accepted plea deal to avoid death penalty. The family of one victim is mad, but better this than risking a 3 month trial ending in not guilty.

On the contrary, neurodivergent people often have a very strong moral core and are among the most fierce campaigners against injustice - see Greta Thunberg for example. They find it much more difficult to explain away the difference between the way things 'ought' to be, according to the principles we are all supposed to believe in, and the way things actually are, which most of the rest of us manage to ignore.

As for Kohberger, it looks like his defence team are throwing all the shit they can find against the wall to see what sticks. I don't support the death penalty however.

Hopefully he gets the same fate as Epstein in prison.

It's like all the stupid new terms being made up R12. And no one ever has anything, they are living with it. Living with autism, living in a large body (that one is the most ridiculous), living with special needs...it's enough. Some people are just assholes.

But Kohberger isn't an asshole *because* of his autism R14, if indeed he has it. Like I said, they were hoping some shit will stick - the plea deal shows how lacking in confidence they were that it would work.

Why is Bryan Kohberger artistic? Was he "born dat way"!! Can he paint a picture of a field of pretty flowers and butterflies? And with Vampires in the field too!

Autistics have no empathy. They channel their emotions to please themselves and sometimes that's a positive thing (like Thunberg - whether you agree with her or not) but more often it manifests itself in animal harm, self-indulgent behaviors, or isolation.

why even take the deal, he will live the rest of his life behind bars...he should have gambled with the trail, maybe he will be found not guilty?

The evidence must be compelling for him to take this plea. He was not going to be acquitted.

The judge will probably approve or reject the proposed plea bargain at a hearing that’s scheduled for Wednesday.

At least two of the victims’ families are outraged by the proposal.
