Just to reiterate what someone above already stated...

Soon after she left "Designing Women" or maybe right before, she went on a tour of malls to support her just-released plus-sized women's clothing line.

Being a very gay sophomore in high school, I gathered up a group of friends to go see her at our local mall. I got very pissed off right away because the girl driving was late picking all of us up.

Turns out it was a good thing. The atrium where the stage was set up was packed. Pretty small town, so a celebrity coming to the mall was a big deal. We could get nowhere near. Ass soon as I turned my head to bitch out Trina for making us late, Delta Burke came up behind us and said, "Excuse me, kids" to get around us.

Trina shouted "He loves you so much!" and pointed at me.

Then Delta grabbed my shoulder and said "Thank you." She seemed very nervous. I was two inches away from her, and I will never forget how truly beautiful she was. It was almost other-worldy.
