This happened to me today. He was in a tank top and tight basketball shorts. I could see his bulge swaying about and he had a delicious bubble butt.
I must have been looking too hungrily because out of nowhere his girlfriend popped out, gave me a dirty look and held his hand tightly. Is she really that insecure?

Yes same R2! That happens to me all the time. They don't seem to be upset or offended when I catch their eye after I have been raking my eyes over her partner's crotch, ass or face - quite a few have been amused and have smiled at me.

It happened to me and a friend once. We were at Macy's, and I saw this tall, beautiful guy walking with his girlfriend.
I nudged my friend so he could have a look. We both thought we were being subtle, but as the couple walked past us, the girlfriend looked at us and said, "I know! Isn't he gorgeous?"
We were embarrassed, but we laughed out loud. At least she had a good sense of humor about it. I'm guessing it happened to them a lot, based on her reaction.

I live in Boystown where there's a nice mix of gay, straight, young, old and everything in-between. Straight women catch guys checking out their men all the time. Comes with the territory. (Literally.) No one is bothered by it.
The problems, if any, arise when the neighborhood is infiltrated by straight out-of-towner couples in the area after a Cubs home game. They're easy to spot - the women are protectively clutching their men like they were ushering a child through the red light district. (She, drunkenly, saying in a too-loud voice "Oh my gawd, that queer guy over there was staring at you!") Funny, the guys themselves are seldom bothered by the attention. It's the wives / girlfriends who are incredulous.
