Who will Amazon cast as the new James Bond?
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 7, 2025 12:57 AM |
Alok Vaid-Menon - 33
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 3, 2025 12:48 PM |
A woman. Why not ruin another franchise?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 3, 2025 1:11 PM |
I think it should go to Irishman Jamie Dornan.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 3, 2025 1:19 PM |
I’d like to see Jamie Dornan or Theo James. Elegant and masculine is a very tricky needle to thread and no one has really succeeded in matching Connery for that. But I think both of these guys have potential.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 3, 2025 1:32 PM |
Cynthia Errivo.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 3, 2025 1:35 PM |
Would they have the 50 Shades guy as Bond?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 3, 2025 1:47 PM |
Someone cheap.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 3, 2025 1:52 PM |
He’s very good r6. I didn’t appreciate his talent until barb and star go to vista Del Mar
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 3, 2025 1:53 PM |
Andrew Scott!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 3, 2025 2:00 PM |
Jeff Bezos

[QUOTE] He’s very good [R6]. I didn’t appreciate his talent until barb and star go to vista Del Mar
He was also excellent in The Fall. Menacing but seductive.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 3, 2025 2:40 PM |
i have seen Jamie in person, very hot, that's for sure but quite short
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 3, 2025 2:51 PM |
They will destroy the franchise. I can see them casting someone like Austin Butler.
Jeff Bezos is a classless POS.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 3, 2025 2:54 PM |
Laverne Cox
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 3, 2025 3:10 PM |
There will be more than one Bond. TV Bond. Gamer Bond. Animated Bond. And so on.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 3, 2025 3:11 PM |
The first nail into the coffin of Bond was last night at the Oscars.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 3, 2025 3:27 PM |
It doesn't matter. The film will be cheap looking shit that stays in theaters for two weeks before being unceremoniously dumped onto Prime. It will have random characters and subplots intended to serve as launch points for a much wider universe of stories no one will care about.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 3, 2025 3:34 PM |
Harry Styles
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 4, 2025 6:33 AM |
R18 is correct, sad to say.
Amazon Prime Video has made terrible choices in the past and put forth very little original material of any quality. I don't see that changing for the better now that Bezos seems to be moving from background to foreground.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 4, 2025 9:56 AM |
I can get behind James Norton.
And in front of him too.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 4, 2025 10:00 AM |
Here we go........... someone new.
[quote]Aaron Pierre is quickly emerging as a frontrunner to become the next James Bond, with growing industry buzz and rising betting odds putting the 31‑year‑old actor firmly in the spotlight. The British star, best known for roles in The Underground Railroad, Rebel Ridge, and Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, has been revealed to be in talks for the iconic role, following a leak by industry insider Daniel Ritchman.
[quote]While names like Aaron Taylor‑Johnson, Henry Cavill, and Jack Lowden have long been floated for the part, the shift in odds suggests a changing tide.
[quote]Bookmakers now have Pierre gaining ground, as his odds narrow sharply to place him alongside veteran contenders.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 22, 2025 11:12 PM |
Aaron Taylor-Johnson can have a smaller (?) role as 009.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 22, 2025 11:35 PM |
It will have to be a Bond of color. There's no other choice.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 22, 2025 11:46 PM |
It will not be a Bond of color because then Amazon will be blamed for wasting money on expensive IP only to ruin it with wokeness, like they did with Rings of Power.
Theo James is the safest bet at this point.

Idris Elba at his current age would do a better job than most of these actors listed. Give him two movies. It’s not like the man uses a walker. The idea of casting someone young so you can stick with him for two decades is harebrained, anyway. In my opinion someone should get to be Bond for about three movies, tops, and then you move on. Daniel Craig’s tenure would’ve been flawless if he ended it with Skyfall.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 23, 2025 12:06 AM |
They still haven’t cast the new Bond? Haven’t they been talking about it for years?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 23, 2025 12:07 AM |
We're gay op. All we care about is the theme song.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 23, 2025 1:58 AM |
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
There was a time when this poll would have included DL fav Oliver Jackson-Cohen at the top of the list.
I'm still in the Aidan Turner or Oliver Jackson Cohen camp. I could see Callum Turner.
Tom Hardy is too old. James Norton is a throwback to a Bond more like Pierce Brosnan. As hot as Theo James and Jamie Dornan are, they don't strike me as Bond.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 23, 2025 2:20 AM |
Forget Theo James - go younger and cast Brian Altemus instead.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 23, 2025 2:43 AM |
I would enjoy a Cole Escola bond film
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 23, 2025 5:03 PM |
They finally selected the director of the new Bond. He probably has his favoured actors.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 26, 2025 12:10 PM |
if Dennis Villeneuve is directing its going to be gorgeous .
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 26, 2025 12:33 PM |
Denis' favourite Bond is Connery, and one of his favourite movies is Dunkirk, so maybe he'll choose Harry Styles for Bond 🙃
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 26, 2025 1:16 PM |
Jack Lowden would be an interesting choice.
That is a horrible picture of him.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 27, 2025 1:29 AM |
R37, Lowden will never be cast as Bond with a long ginger beard. He's more likely to look like R36 if he is Bond, and that's fine. Blue eyes are good, Scottish is good, height (6ft 2) is good, age (35) is good. He is a fairly well known actor but isn't super famous - also good. And he doesn't have an embarrassingly old wife like Aaron Taylor Johnson, but a very cool one - Saoirse Ronan.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 27, 2025 7:56 AM |
Now Tom Holland throws his cap into the ring.
Too young at 29, plus small and slight with brown eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 4, 2025 5:43 AM |
Tom Holland didn’t throw his hat in the ring, he’s who Amazon wants. They’ve literally said he and two others are the top candidates. The answer to OP’s poll is none of the above. Amazon is not interested in any of them.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 4, 2025 1:22 PM |
Gilbert Gottfried would have been perfect.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 4, 2025 2:27 PM |
I love Jack Lowden. He's a very good actor
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 4, 2025 2:41 PM |
[quote]Too young at 29, plus small and slight with brown eyes.
Sean Connery had brown eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 4, 2025 4:51 PM |
Tom Holland would be laughable as James Bond.
That has to be a joke of some sort. If anything, someone "leaked" the info hoping that there would be a huge outpouring of fan support to build momentum.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 5, 2025 2:12 AM |
Enough with the Jamie Dornan nonsense, his moment has passed, he’s not a star. I know he has played a sexual sadist and a vicious killer but ever time I see a photo of him I think ‘what a nelly bottom boy.’ He’s cute but there ‘s nothing butch about him and James Bond needs to be butch.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 5, 2025 2:44 AM |
Cynthia Erivo
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 5, 2025 2:47 AM |
It was a direct quote from Amazon R45. It wasn’t leaked by Tom’s people.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 5, 2025 3:26 AM |
Nobody wants tiny Tom as James Bond. I'd prefer Paul Mescal because at least he looks like a man.
Next people on here will be suggesting Joe Locke for the role.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 6, 2025 2:16 AM |
Jimeny Cricket’!
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 6, 2025 2:51 AM |
It's either gonna be Theo James or Rege Jean Paige. Those are my guesses. Joe Alwyn is a distant 3rd.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 6, 2025 3:13 AM |
Why do you think it will be one of those three, r51?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 6, 2025 3:14 AM |
Joe Alwyn is a milksop with no fire in his belly.
Theo James is over exposed and does cheesy modelling for perfume campaigns.
Rege isn't fierce enough.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 6, 2025 3:29 AM |
My choice would be Joshua Sasse, who starred in ]"Gallavant" and "Monarch," and played Oswald Mosley in "Outrageous."
He's tall, has stunning piercing eyes, a great body and tons of charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 6, 2025 3:55 AM |
It will be Jeff Bezos.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 6, 2025 4:04 PM |
Apparently Aaron Pierre is in final negotiations. I read that somewhere a few months ago.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 6, 2025 4:31 PM |
Sydney Sweeney.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 6, 2025 4:33 PM |
r57, she will star in the XXX parody version, "James Boobs."
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 6, 2025 4:38 PM |
Cynthia Erivo should be the next Bond.
“Bond — Jaynee Bond.”
Because it would piss off the Tate-holes.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 6, 2025 4:45 PM |
How many times are you cunts going to make the same joke. Get some new material.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 6, 2025 6:06 PM |
Who are these people? I only recognize the Cavill name from DL.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 6, 2025 10:25 PM |
Idris Elba has the right voice, the right build and height and the right walk. They could’ve decided this four years ago instead of dicking around.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 6, 2025 10:29 PM |
R62 He’s too old on paper but who knows the way black people age.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 7, 2025 12:10 AM |
Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Next James Bond? Omega Partnership Fuels Speculation.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 7, 2025 12:50 AM |
Joshua Sasse is not a bad idea, I just saw him in “Outrageous” and he’s stunningly handsome. But maybe too old already to play Bond for the next three movies over a period of a decade.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 7, 2025 12:56 AM |
Never seen Aaron Pierre’s work. Mesmerizing green eyes, but he looks more like a James Bond villain than a James Bond.
