It was my go to site for years but as other said it went downhill. The pops ups were insane, and the past year it was so glitchy - the app was down most of the time, the search ddn't work - it was a hot mess. I moved to another site and would check back on myvidster occasionally and it was up would browse through vids I had saved over the years.

The end of an era but honestly it probably was time. The owner seemed unhinged toward the end.

One thing that really ruined it in recent years was this asshole who posted these ridiculously over-the-top descriptions of the videos he shared - without mentioning things most people really want to know -- like the names of the performers or the title of the video. He became unavoidable.

It's been going downhill for quite some time. My visits there have become less and less over the last three years. Far too many pop-ups and glitches when clicking on selections. And lots of down time. I'd really only use it as a last resort, especially if trying to find older videos. As far as a similar alternative, I'd probably recommend gayforit.eu.

R32 Yeah, I wanted to review the "terms" prior to going forward with any kind of registration, and that page wouldn't load either. The site isn't worth the hassle.

It became a mess in the last 3-4 years. The overwhelming majority of their videos were no longer working and the pop-up ads on the ones that did made viewing a challenge if not impossible.

Oops, too bad. It's back to the I'm shut down for good status.

I discovered that you can get around that search problem by going to google and doing an advanced search and putting in myvidster.com as the site or domain to search.

The search hasn't worked for a long time.

Idiot running the place had been tweeting about a new and improved search engine, saying it was still "in the works" back in February.

Of late, he's blaming some other entity, saying "I just wanted to build something new, but they did not. Actions speak louder."

It must be entertaining trying to gain advertisers who want to pay to be on this disaster. Whether the site is working, vaguely working with a hopeful message of improves incoming at the top, or closed with a message saying "goodbye forever" changes daily with little warning, and seems to depend entirely on the owners mood and medication level.

I gave up on this site a long time ago. Whenever something I would want to watch was hosted there I was immediately disappointed.

R52 Can't advise what's going on with your search situation, but the google advanced search method still works for me every time. I just tried it again and found many videos related to my search entry. .. But like I wrote in another post, MyVidster is just a website of last resort for me if/when I'm trying to find something I haven't been able to locate elsewhere. I have others I prefer without all the ads and spam garbage.

JESUS CHRIST, there's a gazillion videos and most importantly--it's fucking free. Is there anything you people won't bitch about?

It also barely functions on any given day, that's when its not just straight up been deleted again. You can't use the websites own search function to search for any of these millions of free videos, they're riddled with malware and popups when you do find them.

All things considered it was relatively easy to download videos from there.

I used to visit it regularly, but it had became a nightmare about 3 or so years ago. The overwhelming majority of the videos would not play. And often you usually would not discover that until after several minutes of trying to navigate the mandatory ads and pop-ups that were trying to install malware on your computer.

I have never had a log on to MyVidster and it has always been wonkie for me, but I have always accessed it by having a few posters bookmarked because their search function has always been shit. This has always been the best approach for getting in for me, to just bookmark posters you like and then click on links. This is one of my bookmarked favorites.

I happened to click on one of my old MyVidster bookmarks today, and lo and behold, the video came up and could be played.
