He was just elected head of the DNC.
Do any DLers know Ken Martin?

Another flop for Democrats.
Martin O'Malley is the only one who would have brought Democrats back from oblivion.

How about David Hogg?
How did he do?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 1, 2025 5:15 PM |
Does he believe in the power of very strongly worded letters???
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 1, 2025 5:17 PM |
He worked for Paul Wellstone, so that’s all I need to know. He knows how to mobilize.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 1, 2025 5:24 PM |
Thanks for sharing the link, asshole OP ! You should know better.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 1, 2025 5:25 PM |
Not Hawt
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 1, 2025 5:26 PM |
Looks very weak - no firm jawline.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 1, 2025 5:27 PM |
Who?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 1, 2025 5:28 PM |
Just looking at his photo, this guy inspires NO CONFIDENCE.
He looks like someone who would be crushed by Republicans.
We have no more fighters in the Democratic Party.
Our "leadership" look like sniveling pussies. The sort of guys the jocks would bang up against a locker or stuff them in one.
That's what Trump is going to do to this guy.
Democrats just never learn.
We needed a fighter like Martin O'Malley, and instead we got this dweeb.

Does Ken like doormats or does he have a nice big pair of balls?

Ken IS a doormat.
Kiss the 2026 midterms and the 2028 Presidential Election goodbye.
This guy will get us nowhere.
He has a capital "L" on his forehead.

The Democrats have not lost a statewide race since he has been head of the DFL. This role is to position and fund Democrats, not to spar directly with Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 1, 2025 5:53 PM |
Yes, R6, I actually was shocked O'Malley only got 46 votes.
But Ken did an interview with Brian Taylor Cohen, and he's pretty dull, but I love that he believes in concept of "The Permanent Campaign," and in spending much fewer resources on legacy media to get its messaging out, more on progressive and center-left podcasts, YT media hosts, etc.
I like him; he says "I'm 51 years old, and I NEVER watch broadcast news, and none of my friends do." "We need to get rid of consultant class politics."
He wants to use re$ources to buy small radio stations like the far Right has, making them and their candidates available to the new platforms.

That's old-fashioned thinking.
The leader of the DNC needs to fundraise, but also reach out to voters, and to be a mouthpiece against Republicans.
It should be an ALL-AROUND job, not limited to fundraising.
Lara Trump DID spar with Democrats, and that helped Trump.
This job is the face of the Democratic Party.
Especially since we have a leadership vacuum with Democrats, after Biden left.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 1, 2025 5:57 PM |
He does mention that he will be A spokesperson for the party, not THE spokesperson and he specifically says his job is to go low and fight dirty so candidates can fight high. I like what he says but he needs at the very least to have a hot ass or else II cannot donate my hard earned$$$
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 1, 2025 6:11 PM |
Maybe his two grown sons are hot...?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 1, 2025 6:48 PM |
Feel sorry for Ben Wikler, he soooooo wanted the job. The boys from 'Pod Save America' will be upset.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 1, 2025 6:57 PM |
He looks wimpy and like he isn't going to stand up to Republicans!!....Was Tim Walz busy?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 1, 2025 7:59 PM |
A white male?

R20 Then they can’t use the DEI excuse.

This 42 year old just took her underwear off and threw at the screen. Press hatred and wanting to buy radio to counterprogram all the Hate Talk? I will be yours, Ken, just take me!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 2, 2025 1:18 AM |
Where does Ken stand on term limits and ancient lawmakers who will NOT leave office? Does he support 84 year olds running for reelection?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 2, 2025 1:19 AM |
Listen to r12, judge him by the job he has done, not on his appearance. He has done a great job in MN. He won for a reason
Geez, imagine writing someone off because they "look wimpy" without knowing anything about them
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 2, 2025 1:22 AM |
I'd rather it was Ken Berry!

He would've brought my penis back from oblivion.

Haha, R22, you remind me of some recent comments Clay Cane (out and proud brother) has made on his show several times since 11/4/24, including just last week: That he and his fellow hosts on SiriusXM's Urban Radio kept contacting both Biden's and VP Harris's campaigns and inviting them to appear on any/all of their shows, and got crickets. I remember Kamala coming on Clay's shows exactly ONE time despite his NYT best-selling book, "The Grift," and his higher profile since the book came out.
But the candidates preferred to suck up to Joe Rogan and Charlamagne, getting nothing out of it.
I hope the Democrats have finally learned their lesson, and the incoming Chair is as good as his word.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 2, 2025 2:13 AM |
Pleased to see David Hogg is Vice chair. Hope he's got a Tik Tok account and starts sending out endless messages all day, everyday to flood the zone of Millennials and Gen Z.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 2, 2025 8:23 AM |
Does the Vice-Chair take over as DNC Chair, if for "some reason" the Chair becomes incapacitated?
Asking for a friend...

Ken Martin is just adorable.I can’t stand it.
