Invisible Boys - New gay themed TV series from Australia starts screening in Feb

The trailer for this looks awesome. Set in a remote Western Australian coastal town, it follows a group of four young men and provides a contemporary take on being gay in our modern age.

INVISIBLE BOYS is a new LGBTIQ+ Stan Originals television series, adapted for the screen by creator/director Nicholas Verso (BOYS IN THE TREES, CRAZY FUN PARK) and produced by Tania Chambers (HOW TO PLEASE A WOMAN, KILL ME THREE TIMES) and Nicholas Verso, based on the award-winning novel by Holden Sheppard. Set against the backdrop of the 2017 same-sex marriage plebiscite, INVISIBLE BOYS explores the challenges faced by a group of gay teens in the remote coastal town of Geraldton, Western Australia, after one of them is outed on social media following an encounter with a married man. As they form a tight-knit friendship, the boys find solace and support in one another, exploring their desires and identities in a world that often renders them invisible.

Well, it's all fine and good, but is it streaming in the US?

If not, then I fail to see the point in caring.

Just watched it. It was good, despite some stupid cliches and tropes. The last three episodes were a lot darker than the first 7 though. It felt kinda weird, because the show up till then was lighthearted, with some funny moments. It went off the deep end and got way too dark. The ending was also underwhelming. Some hot sex scenes though, and good acting too, especially from the actor playing Charlie. The show is a 6/10 imo.

The gay sex scene in episode 8 was very hot.

Just finished it. Damn the last two episodes were dark. I cried like a baby. The aboriginal AFL kid was the weakest actor of the main four imo. Clocked him as a fag the second he was on screen. He wasn’t fooling anyone. His sad and angry face was not convincing at all.
